  I don't know why people are voting this cold. I don't imagine Pontins would be everyones cup of tea but money is tight for a lot of families at the minute and if this is someones only chance of getting away and spending quality time together then it can't be bad.

  I think its a shame about the dates - kids are at school so you would normally lose the last night but even so, for 2 nights away i'll give ya some heat (not that it'll do any good!)

  LOL I expected the cold votes, but some people will be glad of this chance to take the kids away if they are on a budget, I have been a few time and it isnt luxury accommodation by any means, but always had a good time because the kids where enjoying themselves so much.

  just booked 4 nights from monday 16th april, this is during school holidays here so guilt free holiday with kids, love it <3

  My wife booked this deal at the Pontins camp site @ Brean Sands and we were looking forward to it .... then we heard a few horror stories and checked out the reviews on Trip advisor and trust me you don't want to go there, or any of the other pontins sites. Please don't take my word for it check out the reviews and pictures yourself

  We contacted Pontins to voice our concerns and they said they would look into it and get back to us, well after a week had elapsed we thought that we were not going to here any moe about it. Lat Friday KGB rang my wife apologised about the delay in getting back to her and said that her that after investigating further they could see why we were concerned and gave her a full refund and apologised about not being aware of the many problems that people have had at the various Pontins sites.

  Pontins have been taken over by Britannia and are going through a complete overall. The chalets have all been done up. Only been to Southport recently. Dont go off reviews on trip advisors as things have dramatically improved since then. People should see for themselves.

  Trip Advisor reviews for the site I had booked are from this month with some written as recently as yesterday, and they still say it's a sh1th0le. I don't care about any improvments they may or may not be making as I got refunded by KGB so i am happy but I felt it was only fair to warn people that they may not be getting what was advertised or what they had paid for if people go and manage to have a good time and enjoy themselves thats good.
