I am sure everyone out there will support me in saying that the "vile drivel"coming from someguy003 has no place on this site ! And he should keep his opinions to himself.
And just enjoy the Cricket !
Please stop the exchange of insults and arguing

Booked my seat. Shame all the good spaces are sold.
When did going to other peoples countries and murdering them and their children make you a "hero"?
I am a British Muslim and I think you are an absolute idiot.
Afghanistan deserved it as Al Qaeda were being too bold and needed to be wiped out . Iraq could have been left alone, but Saddam was no saint. He had used chemical weapons against his own people.
My only gripe is that Libya should have been handled better. Not much effort was put into the rebuilding effort
I also sincerely hope that ISIS will be wiped out as the bas**rds have displaced millions and killed thousands and destroyed two countries!
You are Muslim??? Al Qaeda and Isis have been supported and propped up by america for decades, firstly to fight the soviets then Iran and more recently Assad in Syria. The US put saddam in power, and they had no problem with him killing his own people for decades. They only got upset when he invaded Kuwait and it's oil. However, these groups have now turned on their masters and so now are the bad guys. The fact that you are happy to put your name to this hypocrisy, strongly suggests to me that you are a very naive muslim. The british and americans relies on muslim people like you to plot their next child murdering and genocidal rampage with their terrorist troops.
It's extremists like you who gives the rest of us Muslims a bad name in society and every non-Muslim then thinks that all Muslims are terrorists!
Just because I am a Muslim, don't expect me to blindy support ISIS and be anti-US.
You live in a Christian country. Shut up and be grateful that us Muslims are allowed to have so many mosques. If you don't like the policy of our country, again shut up and keep your opinions to yourself. You grew up in a council house while your parents claimed benefits and you automatically got British citizenship when you were born. It takes someone who wasn't born here 10-15 years to become British. Be grateful of what Allah has given you.
I recommend to the MODs to clean up the thread and perma-ban you.
Where did I write I support Isis? Is it because I don't accept murdering of innocent muslim children by the terrorist british and americans, I must automatically support isis. ?? You clearly need medical help. british and amricans kill muslims and isis kill muslims- so they do you accept one set of murder and not the other. Answer for you hypocrisy. My message is consistent. They are all terrorist. As for my parents: what do you know about them?? I have never seen a council property in my life. My parents were begged by the british to resettle in the UK in the 60s. Keep your damned mouth shut about things you have no idea about. It is assumptions like the ones you have made that have led people like you both muslim and non- muslim (like you) to facilitate murder of 1.78 million people in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Hold your horses. 'Begged' ? My parents, like yours came during that time. They weren't begged. They weren't asked to resettle either. They were merely recruited. And, so were yours. And, when your parents came here, do you think they stayed at The Ritz? They lived in council houses and you were born in one. Now that I have hit the nail on the head, it hurts, doesn't it ?
You blame me for being tainted by media. Where do you get your news from ? Do you personally know reporters who deliver live news to you in Iraq and Afghanistan? And, why do you keep talking about Afghanistan? Would you have preferred if Al Qaeda were still in charge? I guarantee that you are a British Paikka or a Syleti.
While you stay at home and get further brainwashed by all those muppet extremists out there, me and my HUKD buddies will be enjoying a cricket match with some of the world's greatest cricketers.
My parents bought a 2-bedroomed cottage close to the NHS hospital they worked in- that's where I was born .They were trained in Scotland but the deviant English waited for them to finish and poached them to work for their hospitals. Not all migrants of the 60s were penniless punjabs like you- arriving at airport with 10p to their name. Many were wealthy independently, and came to practice their skill they had learned in their own countries. I do not get my news from Fox news and BBC who love to carry on this "genocide " and love the terrorist "help for heroes". Thanks to VPN, there are now plenty of new outlets from all over the world not afraid to show the true horror of what your "heroes" have done to children and people in Iraq and Afghanistan, but you will never get to see these things in the UK. Your small backward immigrant mind being so grateful to your zionist masters lead you to kowtow to them and accept anything (even child murder)they do because they allowed you in to their country so you could work in the chicken and chips shop. One final thing, I don't know if anyone told you, but Al-Qaeda (and their like) ARE in charge. They beat the british and american. Your "heroes" bwere defeated and ran away back home. They have LOST!!!. Now get back to the counter. I can hear hungry indigenous coming into your shop for their friday chicken and chips.

Please stop chatting any more bs and embarass normal Muslims like me.

-None of us watch Fox news in our country as we have to subscribe for it on Sky
-You use VPN to watch banned news channels? Maybe they were banned for a reason, eh?
-I am not an immigrant. I am a born and raised Brit.
-Indigenous i.e. English don't like chicken n chips. They like fish n chips.
-I have also noticed that you use 'the UK' many times as if you are a foriegner. I say us or we. Hmm...

The more you speak, the more I am led to believe that you are not in our country or you are a recent freshie who is trying to pretend like a British Asian who was actually born here.

Took a chance, had booked amazing seats, but at least we get a full refund...
Where did you get that info from?

If the match is over in 4 days you get an automatic refund to the card the ticket was bought with if the 5th day is not required.

Other than that, if it is weather affected you get the following refunds:

a) No play - Full Refund
b) 10 overs or less - Full Refund
c) 10.1 overs - 24.5 overs - 50% Refund

They didn't do automatic refunds at the last test match. I'm not sure whether people got their money back or not. Those who bought fifth day tickets in advance took the risk. The organizers were under no obligation to refund. Ian Botham said as much on Sky.
Well I saw us lift the Ashes four years ago. And you?

what has that got to do with it?:? And yes i did

you said that because the 5th ashes tests, 2 and 6 years ago had rain that is is highly likely there will be rain at this one, on what basis other than coincidence?
Thats just coincidence though, this test could have a sunny 5 days, i really wouldn't make a choice on buying a ticket or not based on what the weather was 6 years ago :?

The last two Ashes Tests at The Oval went to fifth day due to rain interuptions. Not sure about 1997. I think 1993 did too (when it was 6th Test)? Check the records for yourself.

I used this logic to take a punt on paying £70 (for £15 tickets) for the last day at The Oval, several weeks in advance. A great day it was too. I could have got £1000 for them on the day...

is it not only £5 for children? - post a bit misleading i feel!

It's right if a child is reading it!

Not sure what a 'normal' price is for this, but I don't think £16 is too bad, good spot.
