Kidde 900-0230 BSI Battery Premium Range Carbon Monoxide Alarm with Digital Display £15.29 @ Amazon.co.uk
Cheapest I could find.
We had our annual boiler inspection from british gas yesterday and he recommended us getting a couple as our flue is quite big and runs through the middle of our house. He then tried selling us 2 of british gas own models which looked quite basic and cost £20 each.
These look much better and cheaper!

They was giving them out for free when my wife was talking to her Mum .
That is for combustible gas - butane or propane, not CO.
I like the CO-9D, as it has a built-in meter showing how much CO is present.

Would you be able to let me know when your wife talks to her mum next time please? Hopefully I'll be able to grab a free one then. Much appreciated. :)

Was just trying to point out that if you contact the people you are with they could well give you are free one .
No need to be sarcastic about it .

Thankyou so Much Montblanc! The link you posted is for a Gas detector but exactly what I was looking for months now. Really useful if you have an elderly parent who uses an older gas hob/cooker without a built in thermocouple. Definitely a Life saver!
I think they need replacing after 6-7 years, so even if you have one, it's worth checking to see whether you need to replace it.
