Bought this in Canterbury at this price a few weeks ago so must be national.

£8 for a few years protection of the lives of everyone in the family from this silent killer is surely worthwhile and hot?

    Thanks for posting OP.

PS There is a great review on this somewhere on Amazon or similar The reviewer gives it a low-scoring review and goes on about how useless it is, how it kept going off straight away and so on. The first response states "Get out of your house you idiot you have a carbon monoxide leak!".

    I found it funny :)

Agree as above: been this decent price for a few weeks at ASDA. Usually placed next to the with Kidde smoke detectors at £5.
I you want the variant with digital display see:

Can't believe how many people still don't have one. Bargain price and will last at least 7 years. You may be happy taking a chance with your own life, don't risk other people's lives.
Unfortunately the people who don't buy these are probably the ones who don't get their gas stuff serviced, block vents and don't know what the symptoms of CO poisoning are.

I allways get my boiler serviced but i dont want one of these in the house as every model seems to have negative reviews about ppl being dragged out of their house at all hours and having to call out the fire brigade because of false readings.

I've had one of these for years and never had a false alarm. I do think some people hear the low battery chirp and think it's going off though, which might explain some of the reviews.

I should get one really. whats a few false alarms as long as it goes off when its supposed to

Always had one, better to have a false alarm and get out of the house than never to get out again.
Only ever had one go off. Reseated battery and it remained silent. Battery failed a short time later.

Is this deal still valid, although there has been no stock in my local Asda, the price ticket on the shelf has been increased and is now showing £12.50
