Came across this really cheap smoke alarm at Cortonwood Asda in Barnsley....Kidde Smoke Alarm £2.48 was £4.97....they had plenty in stock...I know fire service fit these for free, but if you cant wait…

Came across this really cheap smoke alarm at Cortonwood Asda in Barnsley....Kidde Smoke Alarm £2.48 was £4.97....they had plenty in stock...I know fire service fit these for free, but if you cant wait for them then this is as cheap as it gets for possibly saving lifes.

Ok dude. What's hot for one person is not hot for another that's why you have the voting buttons . I looked in my Tesco and they didn't have any so £2.48 is hot for me.

might be a cheaper smoke alarm .. but it's not the same brand

I can't understand why anyone would buy a cheap (yes, regular price is less than a fiver) smoke alarm to protect their lives? It's beyond cheap - it's just stupid

Oh dear, I see you're an expert then in this field?. It's a recognised quality brand. Would you say then that if the fire brigade fit them for free then it's too cheap to be any good?

Incedentally, not all fire brigades are fitting them free anymore due to budget cutbacks, so these are even more of a bargain.

good deal . was in Rawmarsh hill Rotherham neighbourhood office building and the had carbon monoxide detectors for £11.00 which i thought was pretty reasonable.

cheers paulace couldn't have put it better myself.... Kidde have been make safety equipment for years.. why would this be inferior to any other smoke alarm...it will do the job and its £2.48 ..
