everything reduced, from 10% on nappies for example to 50% on clothes. We just got an oyster colour pack for £22.50 and a maxi cost pearl car seat for £122.50.

apparently they are getting deliveries daily. I think it's other stores too, as they are turning into an online store only.

oh no way? it was like that in the Thurrock store too but didn't know it's because they're closing down
#2
That's crazy as Thurrock is always busy. Better get down there!

kiddicare is owned by Morrison's, and they are having problems. so been sold off
#4
Wow it's not been open long! Think the plot is doomed what with best buy going the same way!

Tragic :-(. Thought this was coming when an equity group bought it on Monday. Kiddicare staff are second to none in the helpful stakes. Not sure I would shop with them as an online only entity, unless they competed with Lester's et al...
#6
Best Buys were specifically bought by Morrison's to shut and open up as Kiddicare stores when they acquired Kiddicare in 2012, so site not cursed, but Morrison's almost certainly are

I was going to say the same thing about the Aintree store. U beat me to it.

Rotherham only opened about a year ago!

Was in Aintree the other day. Looked liked a big sale rather than a store closing.

OP where did you get the info from? Store staff? Or did the store haves huge closing down sign?

Gutted. Love Kiddicare more than mothercare. It was nice to have one right on my door step too.

as much as i prefer shopping around online, stuff like pushchairs and car seats it's essential to view in person and test out etc. and mothercare, and the rest don't have nearly as many different styles & items.

and like someone already said, the staff are mostly very helpful and have great product knowledge. big shame.

Nottingham store closing to with sale on

Went today, the first time I'd been, didn't buy anything at all, which is not like me! :-) offers weren't that great, but people had trolleys full and the queue was ridiculous, god knows what they found to buy.

been this afternoon. Not much left but a few good deals still to be had. I asked but staff not sure of closing date yet.

Hello, I would like to complaint about the Lakeside Kiddicare, iam glad its closing down I repeat iam glad its closing down because the staff at the tills and the manager that works in there were too rude to me and my friend ,no good customer services at all, I don't knw if bcos were black or mums that is discrimination. they were screaming to us shouting to us bringing guys to escorting out the shop and we had our kids with us. just because we asked for refund n they were just rolling their eyes. The staff they supposed to treat the customers with respect specially when there is kids involved.
its disgusting the service in there .
