As a lifelong United fan... this is an excellent deal which City should be applauded for! Also it is something you would NEVER see the Glazers doing, even with a 700 million debt....

Why would we need to? OT is full nearly every week, even the league cup games have sold fairly well. Just shows that City still need to cut prices cause they havent got enough fans :p

Prices are a joke though and I'm sure the attendances will start decreasing if we don't keep our performances top notch. I'm not that bothered though as hopefully this will lead to a decrease in ticket prices.

Excellent deal though! No excuse not to go now!

Great deal. I think both games are on TV and neither game is against a big team so perhaps we are a bit short on numbers for these games? Still well worth doing

Not sure about this to be honest, in the metro today ithere was a united advert saying you can still buy home tickets on general sale for united v city in the league cup and also v Hull on Saturday. Though United undoubtly often sell out its alot easier to get tickets for united games than people say it is. A few years ago United wouldn't have to resort to advertising in the papers to sell seats!

great price but they will finish 5th;) YNWA

robinho sucks now, he only moved for the money, hes not as hungry to stay as tevez.

Flint is not exactly near Stockport is it ?

United can't help the global fanbase that we have built up on the success we've enjoyed through hard work by Fergie et al...

There are more reds than blues in Manchester anyway.

The reason OT is "nearly" full every week is the system the Glazers put in place to ensure that United have to attend each game, no matter who against and pay for it, whether they attend or not.

Not true as I can choose to opt out of the League Cup games if wanted. Also as a swipe card system is now used they can get an accurate reflection of who actually attended the game and who didn't.

We have approx 55,000 Season Ticket holders so that leaves about 22,500 still to sell - minus the number of away supporters. As I said in my post I hope our sales start decreasing, forcing the Glazers to lower ticket prices

And they call City fans BITTER :whistling:

I've always seen City as a kind of pension club for players in the autumn of their careers.
Look at all the old warhorses who have secured their finances there.
There is something rotten at the heart of City, and no amount of Arab money is going to sort that,
United will always be the Manchester team,City are just an irritating distraction.
Fans are amongst the most bitter in the game too, second only to Leeds.
