Not the best of KJ releases, however captures them live in Toronto in 1982, and featuring the song Take Take Take which is interesting nonetheless for any KJ fan for not being at all studio recorded or reworked into any other song.

For anyone interested in an introduction to KJ, who have influenced so many artists over the years yet for the most part of their career have verged on having nothing more than a cult following, the compilation album "Laugh I Nearly Bought One" is more fitting at Play.com also at £3.99

Thought this would wake you or something?!!:-D

Good spot on the Best Of btw. I should've posted that. But I found "Ha" cheap on HMV and figured it'd be cheaper elsewhere, and did;-)

Ha Ha, only just logged back into HUKD for a few hours (my god is the addiction wearing off) seeing a KJ deal on here soon woke me up for sure lol.

That compilation is great for any Metallica fans to come to senses just how much better the original version of "The Wait" is, as well as of interest to GTA IV fans as it features the dub classic "Turn To Red" as featured on one of the radio stations within the game.

A lifetime of bitterness is what springs to mind with a lot of KJ fans with other bands getting more publicity, we are well educated us Joke fans...remember going to see the Joke in 94 at the smaller Wulfrun venue in Wolves, whilst the other band that were heavily influenced by Joke played Wolves Civic hall the same night...grrrrr....

Then theres Kurt Cobain, the whole court case they decided to drop after he blew his brains out, over the riff that is "Eighties", being recycled as "Come as You are", same riff, different tempo.....at least Dave Grohl sort of returned the favour by drumming on one of their albums in the studio, but that was little hype.

Metallica doing a over rocked version of "The Wait" which turns the post punk aggressive classic into cheese rock aggression...oh I could go on lol.

Yep, both that and the Pandemonium performances were hilarious with Jaz's theatrical glare and the girls in the audience all trying as you say to rock with them in familiar head swaying grunge era fashion lol.

Im no expert but 'Love like blood' is my ringtone. Get some strange looks too, although there is the odd "oh I know that tune". Trouble is I never want to answer the call because I want to here it all.
