I'm gonna wait for the £19.99 mark, can't be that long now!!! :whistling:

Voted hot anyway for this price.

Yep - £20 is not far off - mid April I reckon

Best price ATM though - heat added

Hmmm. If it's anything like call of duty then we'll be waiting a while. I've been waiting for motorstorm pacific rift to drop to less than £20 online but it hasn't hit that price since shopto were selling it in December last year. I thought if i held out then i could get it around the £15 mark.

Think I'll give in an see if sainsburys are still selling it between £20-£25 tonight.

LBP and MGS both just kept on dropping. Resistance 2 and Motorstorm PR held their values better (other than the Shop2 cheapies for Chrimbo). This could go either way as Sony really want to get this in as many hands as possible, but I reckon it cost a fortune to develop and will sell regardless.

"Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots" keeps falling because of the release of the "Greatest Hits"/"Platinum" range edition that has an Recommended Retail Price of £19.99, but shopping around (online) will get you this much lower.

If you want "Motorstorm: Pacific Rift" for under £20, check the "For Sale/Trade" threads for people selling sealed copies bundled with PS3 consoles that they have no use for.

True. But saying that MGS really held a high price for 6 months or so. I felt well chuffed when I picked it up for £23 insore at hmv on boxing day.

£27.99 Delivered, no faffing round in CEX

You could get it for £24.99 delivered before faffing around in CEX as you put it

Great game, but for me CoD4 just beats it for online. Many feel same way, thats what keeps the price high.
So disappointed with MGS4, didn't even bother with online.

Faffing around in CEX, etc was the actual quote.

£24.99 + £4.95 postage = £29.94 :?

Anything else involved buying multiple copies and/or CEX and/or small items to take over £50, etc. I am not saying that yours wasn't a good deal (the best price at the time as no where else was even on £30), just that this is a good price with no additional effort required

Traded my copy in Game this morning and got £25 for it. I then bought Battlefield bad company and Grid for £30. I so wanted to like this game , i got it on release day played it online for two weeks but it was just doorway shootouts and no tactics or originality at all. Shame as i really wanted to like it.The one thing i did like though was the ability to play your own music while playing online!

This place has MS:PR for £19.99. I purchased the game from Simplygames for £23 just before xmas and it is great fun.

Please note that I know nothing about advancetec and the last time I suggested a shop I hadn't dealt with before (although I would if I needed the item) I got a right kicking on HotUKDeals so feel free to shoot me down like the last ungrateful so & so. :)

I purchased Battlefield BC from Zavvi the other day for £13.45 (after their 10% discount). Just another game that I've added to my unplayed game list, which is so very long.

If you dont already have the game how do you know whether it's good or not?

I'm bored of buying games. I havent finished a game since Ratchet and Clank and yet I insist on buying each big seller when it hits a certain price. I must have 8 or 9 games now I havent played through!

I was the same with this one mate, wanted to like it but it just failed to deliver for me.

Good price at the mo though. I paid £28.49 from Play on pre-order.

Traded it in after playing it for a couple of hours though, I must be to much of a COD fanboy

You should play Battlefield - it is great, destructible, shooting & driving mayhem. The single player campaign is a bit meh, but multiplayer is ace - much more fun than SOCOM (which has now been fleabayed.........)

Welcome to my world.

MGS, LBP, Res 2, Gears 2, Fable 2 and others gathering dust here too. Fallout 3 took my whole gaming time for far too long and now I have Street Fighter so don't need any more games

Lol, Body count can be a bit homo at times but not sure about the game having no originality at all. Im a massive COD play have top prestige on both 4 and 5 however its a totally different type of FPS in my opinion. Anyone still play KZ2 on these forums?

I'm still playing it. Not going back to CoD games until 6 comes out. Just got to move on no matter how good/better 4 is.
