(s) means in sealed condition mate, IE all the DLC is still there, the box and everything could and probably would be in a shoddy state

you obviously haven't seen how tough thenbox is! And how much protection is in there.,

So HMV flogged these to CEX then? Must be desperate to get shot of them
#4
Good for the statues then trade the game in
#5
Bear in mind that the helmet is garbage. But its worth it alone for the Helghast edition only code.

I refer to the previous post at hmv. Each store has a pile 5th high, boxes where in terrible state. Cex with there rep prob worse.

No, these are the leftovers from when people traded them in for a profit when HMV were selling them for £45 and CEX were buying for about £60 X)

Was posted the other day anyways.

These are a decent price but unless I got to choose my own sealed box, I wouldn't touch them. All the ones in HMV have been opened (empty stacked boxes all over their shops), which to me isn't the same.

I would avoid CEX at all costs, voted cold.

whhats the next cheapest?
#13
I sold 2 to CEX for £63 each and got mine for free. All they did to confirm mine was sealed was make sure the game had the celophane. In my HMV they have them on display with security locks on them
so all mint. Also very good game

Aren't the boxes meant to look like they are tatty?

Yeah. Quite clever in some ways as most of these ltd editions (prestige etc.) normally end up looking like this after a month or so on the shelf...

well since its an hmv exclusive, your choice is hmv or cex.

im sure you have no valid reason for saying so, otherwise you would back it up.

suffice to say 99% of people who use cex are happy with their purchase. its 2nd hands goods so you cant expect perfect goods, but im sure these will be perfect as most people bought them from hmv and immediately posted or took them to cex.
#18
(s) doesn't mean sealed, it means DLC code isn't used btw.

omg im so tempted now! you guys predict it to get cheaper?
i got the bioshock collectors edition for 10 pounds....just wondering if thats common

Only with crappy collectors editions (Street Fighter 4, Far Cry, Splinter cell etc and crappy "limited editions" that're just games with art books). I completely did not expect Bioshock to ever go that cheap, but they made far too many. There's a chance that that could happen to this but I reckon the fanboys will mop these up sooner or later.

You can never really say with limited editions unless they are numbered to say, x/10000.

Sometimes you pay £100 for a Helghast edition and it ends up that they've made way too many and it goes ridiculously cheap or sometimes you pay £60 for the New Vegas collector's edition and the next day they are on eBay for £140.

Could I wear the helmet on my motorbike ?

They are well known for apalling customer service though. The amount of complaints that have been posted on Misc and the merchant review here ( http://www.hotukdeals.com/reviews/cex ) back it up.

I can back it up; Google cex customer service or just see above ;)

Next time, do some research before making stupid comments..

(S) does mean sealed. More and more games are coming with DLC and Online service codes that don't have a scratch panel. If the game/Item was presented to us without a factory seal how could we tell if it'd been used or not? Hence why *No DLC* and *Offline* stuff exists in CeX too.
