  Amazon use a heavily locked down version of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on the latest Kindle Fire's. Most people wouldn't be able to tell it runs Android.
  
  I think a 32GB Nexus 7 would be a better purchase since you can still buy apps through the Amazon's App Store (if you want to) in addition to Google's Play Store. Also, Google Play Music is launching in the UK on 13th November. This gives you the ability to store upto 20,000 songs in the cloud for free. With Amazon's Cloud Drive you only get 5GBs of free storage and adding more is really expensive.

  I don't get it why people compare products on hukd? i mean this deal is good because it is the cheapest u can buy this particular product. y vote cold because there is a better product available at a cheaper price? Obviously some people see this as the better product and want to buy this hence for them this is a very good offer. Please vote cold if u think the deal isn't good on this particular product and not compare it with other products as no one has the right to judge on everyone's part.

  It costs an extra £10 to get rid of the adverts, although some people have managed to remove them for free by giving Amazon CS a call.
