Got one, full of issues. I can't adjust the brightness, it's slow, glitchy and all in all a poor purchase sadly. I wouldn't bother. Maybe someone had a better experience.

I have the same issues mentioned above. to bright to use as a kindle at night and seems to chew through battery.

When it says reflashed, does that give access to the entire Google apps store then, not just the Amazon one?

I've heard that before, but tbh, I find it pretty daunting. Couldn't do it via the instructions on a couple of websites I found.

just download all .APK's using pc and copy to device, install. reboot disable updates on tablet. hey presto
