It looks like the 2nd gen HD without the camera or micro HDMI, from the photo.

I was lucky enough to get the 32Gb first gen last month for a pound more, which was a great bargain.

Does it take an SD card? if not, storage is rather limited...

You can override the Amazon interface and use it as an Android tablet. http://www.squidoo.com/kindle-fire-hd-uk has good tips for this.

Wish I was more organised then I might of seen that deal , I want something for my holiday in less than 2 weeks do this will hopefully do the job :)

If you google the EAN number it gives you , it show you it's the latest one ;) EAN: 0848719021028

OK, my bad, mis wording, this is the lowest spec kindle fire, Dual core and 1280x800 res, the HDX 1920x1200 and quad core snap dragon 800 is much better and can be found for a little more money

A lot of stuff can be stored on the cloud for free if your using it with WiFi. Mine has arrived , using it now :)
