Saw this earlier - great for those with Amazon vouchers

Same in argos but was a better deal when you got a £10 voucher as well.

This is a great tablet I highly recommend it. I got it back near Black Friday too when Argos were offering £20 vouchers

I nearly grabbed one but hesitated when I saw something about needing to accept terms and enable 1 click purchasing when signing in to use it with amazon account.... can anyone with one confirm whether or not this is the case as I really don't want 1-click turned on... far too dangerous oO

I've just set one up for my in-laws : No 1-click was set up, no credit card has been imputed ; and I can still download the free app offer that is happening now!

I'm exactly the same as above. Set one up for me nan like, didn't even know her address, was fine. No YouTube app tho? God if you've used an iPad then you'll quickly realise this is not a 'cheap iPad type thing', it's much worse, but fine for an 85 year old that wants to send emails

Much worse than "a cheap iPad type thing"? While the ecosystem may be limited, this is not a cheap device. Build quality is great, performance blistering, and screen resolution is higher than an iPad retina.

amazing tab , if you want to shop with Amazon - and thats about it

I would have thought pretty dangerous for granny , id imagine she'll be signed up to prime at least without even knowing it

Really nice, but far too hampered for me, couldnt even root as I had updated to the latest OS straight away, brought mine back for refund.

If you do get one, dont update OS straight way until you are sure you dont want to root etc.

Also, For some reason it doesn't like iPlayer, was taking 45 minutes to download an hour show (normally takes about 4 minutes on my phone / other tabs)

I picked one up for young daughter in last sale for Christmas and she loves it. Saw this sale a couple of days ago so bought one for my wife but she plays a lot of Clash of Clans and some others which require "Google Play Services" and then found out this wont work on kindle without rooting which with a new device I would rather not do :(
So now awaiting for it to arrive so I can send it back at a £6 cost to me :(

can you not get youtube on this tablet? considering it for mother-in-laws 1st tablet.

when it arrives - refuse to accept it - tell postman to return it - claim refund as not received

Still a lot of money for something purely to force feed you Amazon products.

The Amazon Swindle I call it.

This is probably the most stupidest thing I've ever heard on this site....u can use any other android app ...buy off eBay and other sites as a normal computer ..the only ads u get off amazon is on the standby mode when in screensaver...goes as soon as u use it...and it's not a lot of money for what you get ...check the specs out ...and thanks for giving me a giggle with your uniformed twopence worth ...

Bought this almost exclusively for hearthstone and have to say i'am impressed. Runs flawlessly and a huge upgrade from my asus transformer. Excellent value too

Got one for same price at the beginning of December and also received £20 of Argos vouchers
