Kindle Paperwhite (2014) reduced to £99.00 at Amazon.co.uk

£99.00 @ Amazon
Seems like a reasonable price for this most excellent of e-readers. Reduced from £109 to £99. Hopefully other stores will follow suit.

Hopefully Tesco will reduce the base price in line with Amazon (while preserving the code).

It depends to what extent you want to use your device for reading. The Kindle is basically only useful for reading, whereas the Hudl can also be used as a proper tablet, for web browsing, video watching, etc. However, the e-ink screen on the Kindle is much nicer to read books on; it's like reading a page out of a book.

You pays your money and you takes your choice.

I didn't really see the point in the kindle if like myself you had a tablet which could run the amazon kindle app.

Well I won the paperwhite version from this very site last year on the flamdeer competition and I must say it is a brilliant device. The battery lasts for weeks and weeks and the screen is much nicer to read from than that of an lcd on a tablet device.

I have a paperwhite myself and they are the best..
