e-global briefly had them for £59 last year but doubt if you'll see anything that cheap this time.

Amazon had this same offer last year. Generally speaking you don't get much better unless they are clearing stock for a new model. You never know with Amazon though.
#6
I think last year's was without ads.

Regarding the annoying special offers on the Kindle, live chat Amazon support and they will agree to remove them for free. I said they were interfering with my magnetic open/close cover.

Why not buy now and return later, if you find it cheaper then?

It may be worth returning?

I would wait to see if John Lewis lower their price, because of that all important 2 year warranty...

If I bought this from argos last week for £109 would they refund the difference or should I just return it and purchase another?
#20
I'd pop in and ask. I've found the Argos team to be really helpful. If they can't you can return and buy again. you could try the online chat but I've found face to face better.

My guess is that with an extra 10% via quidco (if it tracks) that this will be a better deal. Have to wait and see on Friday.

Just do the buy one and return it with the old receipt trick.

Different devices. If you want to read you can't beat an e-reader.

Use to credit the difference, not anymore so you have to send it back.
Thanks op. Amazon can take a run.

Is this the same model as the Amazon Black Friday one? Dont think I saw a model number on the description.

same price on amazon now minus the quidco
#31
Did the quidco track correctly anyone?
#32
Really tempting

Brilliant reader at a brilliant price. Haven't used readers for a while since gave my old Sony to my mate as couldn't get used to the screen. These high res paperwhites are a huge advancement imo, add quite a useful backlight and you get a very good device.
Works WAY faster than the old ones, got context dictionary, translations can send books on it via email. What not to like?

Oh I guess the thickness of the device (especially with original Amazon flip cover) - why so thick??! Would give it 6 stars out of 5 if they make it half as thick.

P.s. paid around 60 for a used one so this definitely is a hot deal.

Same price at Tesco with free collect.

Can you remove ads even if you bought it outside of Amazon?

Tracked at 3% for me, £2.40 with a message that it will be updated later by the merchant.

Unsure. They didnt enquire where I had bought mine. Just my amazon account details which you would link your kindle to

Folk who are fans of kindles, check out the yotaphone 2, was a deal up here recently and I got one from CEX. Really awesome e-ink screen, like a mini Kindle in your pocket (no screen glare, nice on the eyeballs), a Shame it is not illuminated like the Paperwhite, but I think it's a great little device for reading on the go (and can read your free newspaper apps, etc, which you can't on kindles).
(I was not really aware of it till I saw the deal here last week, thought it worth passing on).
