Majority of reviews are very good, lots of people buying for their kid which is a good idea to encourage reading.

If your going to do any reading in the dark i.e in bed then pay the extra and get the Paperwhite, I have the case with the built in light and wished I had a Paperwhite instead.

Seconded. They paperwhite backlighting is superb, and the battery still lasts me weeks with daily use!

yes and they perform like crap compared to a Paperwhite, like I said I have a genuine Kindle case with light, when used in the dark it lights most of my bedroom up and causes eye glare unless you hold the Kindle at a certain angle.

**** I bought this two days ago. Do tescos do any refund policy if the price changes days later ?
#16
anyone know if its in the double up deals? ive vouchers to use :-)

I've got the paper white and I almost exclusively turn the backlight off. The text is far clearer and sharper in my opinion with it off. I really should've just got one of these

I've got one of this in Sainsbury black Friday deal for 39.99 but silly question what case do I need for this I look on Ebay and is bit hard to find it most of it is for the Paperwhite version. Is it gonna fit o this one too?
#19
I have the regular kindle with the official kindle case with built in light and find it to be great. The light is much better than the clip on lights you can buy and it doesn't light the whole room up :)
#20
Can I read pdf in it. Does touch work with pdf as well?

Is that fully off with the hack or just at its lowest setting?

Good price but a shame it's with tesco. Give it 3 months and your item might finally be despatched, speaking from experience. Still, heat added.

Just bought one for 34£ using my clubcard.

If online YES they do. Give them a call.

You will regret if you don't buy the paperwhite kindle,my eyesight isn't great and I find this hard to read on in daylight or in my livingroom with lights on,of course I can buy a light but I think I will get myself a paperlight, also you will need a new kindle case as the old one doesn't do and touchscreen isn't great at times.

Not great for pdf books ... May be boarding passes or a small map, shopping list is fine

Rightly pointed, go for paperwhite at least if not for the voyage.

It's to take the basket total to £40 or above to make the voucher code work :3

When you create a new account it asks you if you have a clubcard so I put my clubcard number and at checkout I got 3 vouchers worth 6£. I used first the coupon for 10£ off and then the vouchers from clubcard
