Best price around for the new Kindle, so voted hot

Wish it was on boost :(

very overpriced this, considering that aside from slightly better screen resolution this doesn't really offer anything new. personally I'd wait, it will soon be around the 100 quid mark.

Little chance of that happening.

This seems pretty ridiculously over-priced...
I still use my Kindle keyboard 3G, and still find no reason to upgrade. It works perfectly, and I can download books when on holiday without having a wifi connection :)

Amazon have got to try harder to keep us locked into their e-book system. Especially as there are v.v.good non-proprietary options out there (Kobo etc)!

Have you tried a paperwhite? I had a keyboard kindle for quite a while and was hesitant to change but the paperwhite is so much nicer to use especially so if in low light conditions.

That said I cannot see the point on spending about double on the voyage.

My mum has a Paperwhite. It has a nice screen -- but again, it doesn't have the 3G functionality which I have always found so so useful!
I think the Paperwhite is a much better proposition for most people vs the Voyage....but the on screen page changes are a big step back from the Kindle keyboard (which have physical buttons).

Give me a Paperwhite with 3G and physical page changer buttons at a v.reasonable price, & I'll be happy. The Voyage is just too costly for what it is.

You obviously haven't read the reviews on the Kindle Voyage Yes its overpriced and if you have a Paperwhite probably not worth the upgrade. If you don't have an Ereader and reading is your hobby and you'r not scraping for money then this is the only choice.
Lots of people (myself included) do not like the touchscreens for pageturns. The Voyage has a feature called Haptic page turns which should rectify this. The backlight is Adaptive, it automatically adjusts the screen to the current lighting conditions. Its thinner and lighter than previous generations and has the highest resolution screen on the market. There are other smaller improvements also.
In short its the best Ereader on the market, but pricey.
Voted hot, after all its the cheapest available.

I obviously have read the reviews and all have said exactly the same things ie nice screen haptic OK but a bit pointless and well over priced. everyone I've seen have said unless you have cash to burn buy the paper white!

I've personally been waiting for a deal on the kindle voyage and £20 is better than nothing.

Hot deal, just trying to decide between this and the Kbo Aura H2O for Christmas...

Waterproof and larger screen vs best kindle on the market, especially with the new whispersync for voice, switching from book to audio book and back again, synched to the same place, is very nice!

whether you think the product is overpriced or not... its still the cheapest price you can find from any retailer.

so have some HEAT :D

Code is now expired no? Tried it and didn't work for me. Or is it new customers only?
#20
Also, what about getting it from .e.g amazon.de?

It works out at about £147 excluding delivery on current exchange rate:
http://www.amazon.de/hochaufl%C3%B6sendes-integriertem-intelligenten-Frontlicht-PagePress-Sensoren/dp/B00IOY524S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1421183593&sr=8-1&keywords=kindle+voyage

Hmm, seems Amazon won't let you buy a Kindle from other countries. Cheeky.
#21
Is it with ads?
#22
Mine wasn't - but the deal is now so old I suspect the voucher code has expired.
#23
Yeah, it expired
