Been looking for a great deal on Kinect for a while now and this is easily the best I've seen, but it's only valid on Boxing Day. There are a few deals but the best two are easily:

Kinect w/ Kinect Adventures - £109.98

Kinect w/ Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports and Dance Central - £154.98

You also get free express (next-day) delivery since the order's over £100 and you can get 1.5% if you do it through Quidco too.

Like I say though, the deal'll be gone tomorrow if GAME are to be believed.

Also you can add voucher code GAMESALE to the basket to get and extra £3.00 off (minimum spend of £30)
- *Sloman*

USE THE CODE "Perkz100" For £10 off to make it under £100
- Jetpac

£10 code doesnt work anymore
- riteondeals

Cracking deal, although I'm less excited now I've realised I can't use my £20 luckygamer voucher against it!

Nice find! Thanks!
But I am not sure if is worth the money to buy it.
I was waiting for sub £100.
What is your opinion?
#3
this likely to be matched instore?

georget - I work for a games mag and so was lucky enough to have a loan of one (so I could see if my room was big enough) and most of the launch games.

If I'm being honest I'd say Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports and Dance Central are the only three worth having just now, and considering the total cost should be £210 I'm happy with £154.98.

Not sure what Kinect's long-term future is, mind, but it's worth bearing in mind that if you know someone else with a Kinect and you're both on Gold you can video chat, which is what I'll mainly be using it for (to talk to my parents in Scotland while I'm in London).

I got one for my lad for xmas, I was extremely sceptical about ithaving read some reviews but you can hardly tell your son your not getting it based on that. Played it yesterday and was extremely impressed, no lag and its really fun. Again, as above, it depends on how well its gonna be supported in the future. Gets a thumbs up from me and I paid £127 from Asda

I'm going to wait until next week when they will come down to under £50 & everyone loses the (ooooh I want one of these) Nonsense.
#8
the sports and dance package seems to the best games so tempted, wonder if i can snaffle some vouchers to use online

Great price but... Games for it are pretty naff, I don't believe the Kinect will be around in its current form 12 months from now. If you want a bit of family fun then it is okay but I have one of these and a wii and the wii is still much better.
#10
Played it for the first time yesterday and have to say I wasn't impressed at all. But each to their own. Heat added for the price.
#11
This is a good price compared to other deals but I'm still not tempted as in truth it's still too expensive.

This time next year it should be far cheaper and have more quality games to go with it.

I was somewhat sceptical, but it's a great piece of kit. Blows the Wii and the Move out of the water and Dance Central is great. The idea of mapping just one point on your body when this thing can map your entire body means it has so much potential.
#13
I just ordered for £99.98 using discount code Perkz100 also using Topcashback with 1.51% Cashback. If it does drop in price further over the next week or so then i will just cancel my order, but I dont see that happening just yet.
#14

As someone hinted above, check out the space required before hand. We got one for my son for xmas and we have had to move a sofa to get the space, About 4 yards from the sensor was required.

i was surprised how much fun this really is was a bit nervous when orderingbut ots great - anyone saying the wii is better is mad - i own both and sorry but shaking your hand or moving your whole body - no comparison
#17
I tried adding the GAMESALE code also but it only accepted the one code. So just went with the Perkz100 code.
#18
definately better than the wii in my opinion.. probably worth waiting a few weeks for it to drop further though.
#19
Trying to use either code just get "Redemption Rules Not Satisfied" :(
#20
I Just tried it again and both codes work but you can only use one or the other.
#21
Anyone who is sceptical about it, don't be, truely great fun! I've had mine for a month or so now and yesterday with all the family over we were playing it for hours!

Kinect Sports is awesome, truely great sound track and seeing my nan and grandad having so much fun playing the bowling! Track & Field games are so good and alot of fun!

Dance Central is alot of fun too!

#24
Excellent price for now, but personally I'm gonna wait until they come down.
#25
Amazon also selling at the same price as Game. Wish i still had my Amazon Vouchers, as I would have paid much less then what i have done with Game.
#26
ordered with 'Perkz100' code - brought down to 99.98 (and 1.5% cashback through quidco).

Strange, my connect works with 1 person at 6 foot from the censor and it'll work fine with 2 people at 7 foot.

Just ordered with Perkz100 code - cheers!

Heat added :)

Good price. Got it for my daughter yesterday, and after being as sceptical as everyone else I must say this is far far superior to the Wii. Yes the games are still at the Wii gimmicky stage, but the plus side, no extra money for motion sensor, no extra controllers needed, at everyone aches from a couple of hours play. The Wii you can cheat, this you can't.

It's still overpriced, but if it's between this and the Wii, this is cheaper, once you add all the extra controllers and battery packs to allow more than 1 to play the Wii.
Think about it? This needs no extra controllers or chargers or plastic things to make them look like golf clubs or steering wheels. Must have spent this again on Wii fit boards, motion sensors, steering wheels etc.

If you really want to see your kids get active, this does it.

Yep ordered the package with dance central and kinect sports.

My order is sat as held. Is everyone else the same?

I don't know why loads of people seem to have the idea that the Kinect is going to plummet in price soon, its been selling really well and Microsoft aren't likely to be reducing the RRP.

Ordered thanks OP

Regardless of what some early adopters on here think, this "gimmick" WILL drop like a stone in the coming months!!

Why would a company reduce the price when it's still selling well?

People said that about the Wii, yet it took years before there were any meaningful price drops. Given how well Kinect is selling I doubt the price is going to fall any lower than £99 by next Christmas, there's just no reason to drop the price.
