My buy in price is around £70, after all it's just a couple of web cams and some fancy software. You can get the whole xbox for around a ton.

Can't believe this is the first post for this deal, I noticed it just after lunch yesterday.

Not going to be long before you see £89 then £79 deals for this. ;)

Can you use the Britvic codes for this?

I will wait until these are free in Cornflakes or something. It just isn't good enough yet to part with any money for one. Yes I do own an Xbox 360 and no I'm not a PS3 fanboy.

There's a bit more to it than that - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinect

When are they brining out the new Kinect have heard that Microsoft are looking at August for a release
But have not been able to get any further confirmation.

They're not going to release replacement hardware less than a year after its predecessor. The first software update for it is coming out with the spring dashboard update. It'll bring facial recognition and a few other features.

Great deal. Have loads of funny playing on kinect, great for muti-player as no need for extra controllers & not holding bits of plastic is great to :)

If you have the slim model you can sell the power adapter and wifi extender too.
Quick look on ebay shows they are going for about £20:

Don't forget you can get quidco for ebay now: www.quidco.com

So it's 40% of sellers revenue. Probably won't be more than £2 then but it all counts I suppose.

I received £2.15 on a £199 purchase the other day so it'll be about £1 cashback for the Kinect.

Thanks for the post OP, I've been waiting for a decent non-bundle deal to come up so have purchased one. Heat added.

Also bought and heat added, only buying it so the missus will stop nagging me about the dancing every time the ad comes on the telly! Cheers OP :)

Been trying to find a good package to upgrade my Elite to a 250GB Slim with a Kinect. All the best Kinect deals seem to be Kinect and games though. Best I can find is £144 for Kinect with 2 games and then about add on about £70 + Elite trade in to get a new console. I can't justify blowing £70 just to get a quieter XBox :( so maybe I'll just go with the Kinect and no upgrade.

Quidco from Zavvi on Ebay tracked at £4.40 for a purchase of £179.95 the for me other day so a bit more than £1.

Heat added :)

Can you connect the Kinect to any XBox or does it have to be the Xbox360 slim version

I wanted to do the same as you but ended up just buying a kinnect and using an old xbox and tbh the amount you'll use kinnect it doesn't really justify the new xbox. I suppose I am making a big assumption about how much you'll use it but my point is the kinnect doesn't completely replace traditional xbox use so buying a brand new xbox for it doesn't right make sense if you see what am getting at. It depends what you need more £70 in your back pocket or a new xbox.

HMV in a different thread. http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/kinect-adventures-any-two-games-hmv-gamestation-instore/870372 To be fair you can probably pick up the games for £25 each on eaby so it's only a saving of a few quid on this deal if you want the extra games now.

Yup - any xbox! I'd heard that there were problems with the older xbox's getting fried but did some research and there is no plausable reason for it! Oh and don't forget...YOU are the controller!!! ;)

I don't think my Slim is even that quiet tbh.

gone for this too heat added.
My 360 slim is a lot quieter than my old elite and if you copy any game to the hard drive its even quieter as the disc drive isnt spinnung up soo much.
I think im gonna sell the power lead and wifi extender to bring down the price even more

Thanks. Purchased. :)

I'd given myself a target of under £100 and over the last few months I'd resigned myself to the fact it was going to take a while longer for it to drop to that level, but here we are!

I have to admit, there was a little voice saying, 'Wait a little longer. It'll probably get even cheaper.' But there comes a time when you have to make a decision and just go for it. ;)
