Kinect Sensor for XBox 360 back down to £45.00@ CEX! (No PSU, £52 with PSU) (Add £2.50 for delivery)

cookiemonster83cookiemonster83

Kinect seems to have dropped in price again at CEX, and you can now get one for just £45!!! (EDIT: Has risen to £48 since the time of posting, CEX prices have a habit of doing this). This is a great deal for 360 Slim owners, as they don't need the PSU. Everyone else can get the PSU included for another tenner (although I'm going to investigate and see if I can find them cheaper elsewhere.) With Internet Explorer coming this Autumn (already available for those in the dashboard beta) along with the apps already available for Kinect use, it's a good time to pick one up cheap!

This price is in-store. Add £2.50 for delivery.

*** Third-party PSU on Amazon for £6.89 delivered: http://www.amazon.co.uk/XBOX-KINECT-SENSOR-POWER-SUPPLY/dp/B004ULYCVS***

Please let me know if you find one cheaper so I can add it to the post :)

*** £5.49 on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UK-Plug-Power-Supply-Charger-for-Xbox-360-Kinect-Sensor-/320785299699?pt=UK_BOI_Electrical_Components_Supplies_ET&hash=item4ab04b38f3#ht_999wt_1396 ***

Worth checking trade in prices if you have any new releases you might want to trade in... The Amazing Spiderman for XBox 360 gets £28 credit for instance, meaning only £17 cash for a Kinect :)

    With PSU

EDIT: Link for £5.49 PSU on eBay here

You can put it below or above the TV. Just be aware that you need to have a big wide open space in front of it to use properly!

Price dropped to £45 about 1-2 weeks ago.

Also worth thinking about buying from game / gamestation if ordering online. It would work out £2.50 more but if anything goes wrong in the 12 months then I know i'd want to be able to ring up to sort it out rather than all the communication through email.

If buying in store then it's a very good price considering 12 month warranty :-).

I have an attachment for my kinect which means that you can play with 40% less space than required, its called a nyko zoom or something like that! Mine works great, but they do have some mixed reviews.

To be honest I would really suggest ebay for buying a kinect, although this is a good price for the kinect alone, the games can be pricey, and you can get a good bundle on ebay if you don't mind a bidding war.

I bought mine from ebay, and I got the kinect, the nyko zoom, kinect adventures, rise of nightmares, just dance 3, carnival games, just dance kids (which is HARD lol), kinectimals and...something else..dance central maybe, for £73, including the PSU.

The kinect games are expensive to buy alone!

I must advise the CEX website is really awful for delivery.

Took two weeks before they finally sent it and this was after, I had filed a complaint with Paypal.

Can't complain about the item I bought thought it'd be preowned all sealed so not so bad, just be advised they are a pain in the ass online.

Doesn't GAME have it for £2.50 more I think I'd rather trust them than CEX?

I should note that I always recommend people against buying from CEX online, but there are no problems buying from them in-store.

No PSU? What's the chance they're stolen?

They most probably are not stolen, just taken out from Slim Xbox bundle. They do not come with PSU if sold in the bundle.

Confirmed, saw this in the Loughborough branch

Newer xbox doesnt need the PSU anyway, USB powered.

Ah thank you - there's a logical explanation.

Suddenly had a spurt of heat this morning it seems!!! Price has now risen to £48 since I originally posted, but still a decent price.

Saw t for less in their southport shop a week ago. £40 for the white one without psu. Cracking deal!

Now £49.99 at Gamestation that's including delivery and the PSU :-)

Bought one in store last week, excellent condition very happy. Be aware no game included! but its only a few pounds in store.

Cold because CEX are a nightmare for faulty things.
