Aren't these just abit of flimsy plastic? You can make your own for less than £5.

Don't know whether this is the cheapest price out there or not, but its most definitely a rip off regardless.

not flimsy when installed its a very good product

I have one of these, but I have also just purchased this
http://www.play.com/Search.html?searchstring=kinect+mount&searchtype=allproducts&searchsource=0 which I think might be better, and certainly more in the price range these sort of things should be in

I have one of these, but I have also just purchased this from Play £7.99
http://www.play.com/Search.html?searchstring=kinect+mount&searchtype=allproducts&searchsource=0 which I think might be better, and certainly more in the price range these sort of things should be in. Also available from Shopto.net for £7.85, don't forget Quidco too!

oO 32.99 for that!??!?

£7.99 is more reasonable, but still not a bargain.

Wow that kinect tv stand thing is almost as good value as the Officially Licensed PDP Kinect Camera Extension Cable £39.99.

Which is, if you do your research, basically an "active" usb extension cable selling for £5.57 - £7.49

The Kinect connector is different than a USB connector.

Won't Work.

Do some research (google it) and you'll find that you can connect your Kinect to your Xbox via a good quality active usb extension cable. I've tested it out on my old Xbox360, but not the slim model as I don't have one. The Xbox wasn't happy at first but adding a usb hub to the rig changed things around.
The most surprising thing I've just discovered is that you can string spare usb hubs together to create an active usb extension cable, which is what I've now changed my system to, as I can plug any xbox usb wired device anywhere along the cable.
Sorry if I've gone slightly off topic.
