Here's a tip for you, why not actually TRY one instead of blagging crap from a PS3 fanboy site and you might see why your post is so stupid. The kinect is a fun piece of kit, it works well, certainly better than I ever thought, but you are clearly a "hardcore gaymer" which is not its core market. Its meant for people who see games as recreation not those who see it as an essential part of their lives ;)
And I'm a PS3 fanboy
but Move is crap and Kinect is excellent.

Er, for your information I OWN an xbox 360 and I DID have kinect (bought at launch)
I am trying to tell people not to fall into the same trap I did. It is overpriced, laggy junk that has been made popular due to false advertising.
Free log, wow, someone should post it, it would the best freebie ever :D
Oh, by the way how do I get this log.

So, you jumped in at launch (which is always stupid), and you're taking the first batch of games as the benchmark, unbelievable!! X). Things move on you know, developers are rushed to get stuff out (no point in releasing with no games!!) and I'll admit that Adventures suffers a bit of lag, but you get used to that and overcome it. I suggest you try some of the newer games like Sports 2, darts is really FUN, and guess what, no noticeable lag!!!
I appreciate that you're "trying to help" but please, make sure you're up to date before spouting unfounded crap. Kinect has some great titles and some real crappy ones but it is what it is, a good laugh mainly with family and friends. If you don't have friends or you're a hardcore gaymer only then yes, its not as good, but then again, most things are better when not played alone ;)

You're either young or a loner, you never heard the phrase "chinny reck-on"?!?!? It was said when people said stuff that was a bit hard to believe (later changed to "Jimmy" in reference to his long chin):D

I guess I should have known, I'm not in Kinect's demographic but if you have £80 to blow on a mediocre darts game then off you go. Playing with friends isn't as fun as you would think. Me and my buddies turned it off after about 10 minutes of looking like idiots.

You seriously worry about what you look like when you're enjoying yourself?!?!? It's a LAUGH :D or do you and your mates prefer to sit around discussing art and the rationale of modern political issues?!?! I paid £99 for mine at christmas and it came with 3 games all of which get regular use, mainly when me and my 7yr old play together, and you know what, we sometimes look silly..... so what?!?!?
For anyone who CAN laugh at themselves without feeling ashamed, I'd totally recommend it ;)

We weren't enjoying ourselves, that's the whole point.
We'd rather be relaxing with a few beers enjoying a game of FIFA than this:
But if you like doing this ^ then each to their own...

I personally cant think of a thing I would do less than play FIFA, but as you say, each to their own ^^ ;)

Can't let myself myself go? Have to have a drink to relax? Please don't make assumptions when you don't even know me...
I'm not really sure why you're getting so protective over a camera but I guess that means a lot in some peoples lives ;)
Also, please get off you're high horse thinking everyone must think something is enjoyable just because you like it. Maybe you should use a bit of empathy and think of others for a change... hmm?
Something for you to think about there.
