Kinetic non contact thermometer £5.00 in Asda (Instore Pharmacy)

£5.00 @ Asda
In store deal in ASDA pharmacy. Reduced to clear. They were £20/£25 and are now £5. Tried looking online for it but no luck . My very first deal hope it's ok.

It's a good price compared to elsewhere, but to be honest it's not a great product. Much better off with an in ear one suitable from newborn or a 99p one that you put under armpit. This one used to give various readings dependent on how you angle and point it, if the baby moved etc, it was very hard to tell if the high temp was real or because of how the thermometer was positioned and caused a lot of worry with a newborn. Okay for older kids but used my in ear one then anyway.

I disagree. Trying to get our Braun 'in-ear' thermometer into our 2 year old's ear to get reliable/repeatable measurements when he was ill was near impossible. This Kinetik non-contact thermometer worked perfectly well and gave reliable, repeatable results.

Cheap and cheerful armpit thermometer is just fine, don't waste your money on anything more.

I have one of these and it is great! Has a setting for body temperature and room temperature :)

Heat for price!

Think this must be national. Seen at this price in 2 asda stores around Doncaster

Just got one in C/wood, Birmingham. Says £10 on shelf edge, scans for £5! Looks good, works fast and easily. Comes ready to go with battery already inside. Thanks OP, heat added :-)

Got one from Asda in Stafford last night, two left on the shelf when I got mine. Labelled up at £5. Cheers OP.

these are not accurate. they are 0.5 to 1 degree higher than oral reading. I took mine back (didn't see this deal) and was told they are a £1

Took your advice & went to Asda in Kilingbeck, Leeds. The assistant knew nothing about the reduction but they had them right on the front of the counter. They were marked up a "Reduced to £10" I asked her to scan one and guess what? It came up as ONE POUND !!
I bought 2 ! Great for my Home Brew Get down there
