When I click on a link, or an image used as a link, I expect to be taken to a page that contains more information about the item in the. link, and not to a generic page from a supplier of the item in the link, (as above), with no easy way to find the item concerned. This seems to be happening far to often on HUK Deals, it can be very frustrating for users, and wondered if the system could be changed to stop this happening.

Don't get me wrong, I am not getting at the OP of this item in particular, it happens with many items on here, so it appears to be a sign that the design of this site is encouraging people to post links that do not lead to the specific item they are posting about. Am I alone with this, or do others find it frustrating?

... a straight forward internet search sorts your issue out.
Have you got the Sunday blues?

This is how the system works for instore deals though. When you add a deal, it requires a link for the 'go to deal' button. If you add an instore one, you obviously can't provide a direct link to the shelf you were standing at, so a link to the retailer's front page is added instead, since HUKD needs link-revenue to run.

This is nothing to do with OP, it's just how things are, and need to be for the site to run.

sorry but I tried looking online for this but as it's in store only there was no link to be given.
