Tickets for Shakespeare's "King John" at the RSC Swan Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon are only £5 for all seats for the 7pm performance on Thursday 19th April when you use the following promo code: 2468

This performance is a 'press night' and this offer was run a few times last year but this is the first I have received this year. Bargain as tickets for the cheapest seats start from £16 for all other performances. If you haven't been to the Swan Theatre before it is a fantastic, intimate venue and in many ways I prefer it to the larger main theatre next door.

"King John's claim to the throne is challenged by France, which threatens war unless he steps aside in favour of his nephew, Arthur. A bitter, political struggle ensues as a weakened King clings to power, no matter what the cost.
Maria Aberg has directed for the Royal Court, RSC, Soho Theatre and Southwark Playhouse. Her recent RSC productions include Days of Significance (Swan Theatre/TricycleTheatre/UK Tour 2009) and The Gods Weep by Dennis Kelly (Hampstead Theatre 2010). Alex Waldmann takes the title role with Pippa Nixon as The ****."

Thanks for this. I've booked.
What a great deal.
How do you get updates from the theatre?
designaw#2
I live in Warwickshire and have a booking account but not membership so not sure why I get them but every once in a while they email me, they had three offers last year and they usually pop-up during the quieter periods of the year or for the Swan productions.
I think you can sign-up for an email newsletter. I always post them on HUKD when I get them anyway!

Thanks again... I'm on lots of lists but don't get these codes 'til it's too late: booked 'reasonable' seats for this, so have some heat (a good one for us locals who can turn up at short notice!)

Excellent deal, super hot. Shame they're so booked up that the two of us can't sit next to each other. Got a similar deal last year for dunsinane.

Yes, I listed the offer for Dunsinane last year - really good production. You have to be quick with these offers but so far I've been lucky - managed to get the last seat on the ground floor, right in front of the stage.

Thank you for this. Unfortunately already booked and paid full price for this play but have used the codes you posted in the past with great success!

Patience, and everyone else.

We are members and went lastnight (full price). It was awful.

Wooden, confusing and pooly acted with the exception of Contance and the Bastart. The costumes were dressing-up box crossed wiyj 60's **** house.. And the sining .. Yuck

Lost the plot is not too hash.

No wonder it is a cheap offer

We left at the interval
