This is so annoying - not that I like the movie much or have even thought about buying it - but this trend of re-releasing a movie mere months after it has been released. The distributors are totally exploiting the fans - knowing they will buy it on release, and that they will 'just have to' buy the silly extended (13 minutes?) edition.

Its no wonder people are downloading and pirating each others movies - and I couldn't care less. The movie industry needs to treat the fans with more respect.

The movie & TV 'Industry' is not about the fans.

sorry coudn't help it!

OK X10 - its not about the fans if you want to get pedantic - but do you think the constant re-releases, and purposeful withholding of the superior editions until the weaker/vanilla disc sales are saturated, is fair?

Life's not fair. I do wonder why people keep buying these things on release. You say yourself that it's a trend - we all know that special editions come out, DVDs get reduced to £5-6, etc - are people really that impatient that they have to buy things on launch?

I don't care myself, I'll let the masses subsidise my cheap entertainment.

No, I was completely agreeing with you.

Head<--Nail

We are a nation of consumerists, which this site only helps fuel, if people don't stop buying them, the publishing houses will continue to spit out this rubbish.

I still prefer the £0.99 version, which I received after 4 weeks of wait. :)
Thanks for the info though!
