Been using a Quattro for a while, might be time for a change. I hear nothing but good things about these
#2
I have 3 of these (one for each bathroom and one for travelling) and they are great. Blades have a decent life too
#3
Our Asda also had the ladies one too for the same price.

Yeah they have those on sale too. They were sold out at the store i visited.

I believe they are the same but the blades are slightly longer (i was going to get the lady blades on offer at sainsbury's but noticed they were slightly too long for the mens handle)

Seems like i'm the only one who didn't like them, but we do need someone to close in on the monopoly gillette have got.
#6
These are great - I've got 2 myself.

You just need to retrain yourself to shave with them and they give a great shave and as stated the blades last a millenium (well almost!)
#7
seen this last week! and i cudnt belive what the hec i saw cz its about 4quid in boots!
#8
Bought one of these the other day. In my local Asda they were sold out in the usual shaving products aisle but they had a whole bunch of them in the seasonal aisle, so worth bearing in mind if you're trying to find some :)
#9
might have to pop in and get those cheap blades while I can. They do last ages though

The worst shave you'll ever have! Just read the reviews and find previous posts on this razor. It cut me up more than the Bride of Chucky! Stick to you Fusion and sharpen it on your jeans (check out google)

I tested one & did an online survey . In the survey it said they were £4.99 with 3 blades ..

Heat added here.

Well you heard wrong! wouldn't be a patch on the Fusion. And another thing, the design of the razor leaves it near impossible to shave tight under the nose.

I think you're getting confused with the new razor that Apple are about to bring out.
#18
Asda Livingston were also doing these on 4 for £3 offer Thursday but not so sure when offer expired..;)

Who designed this? You cannot shave the upper lip area properly to remove the mustache under the nostrils as there is to much plastic at the top of the blade. The handle is cheap and too bendy. A rubbish razor.

I've got a fusion and this and this is by far the better razor once you learn how to use it properly
#21
i always got a decent life from the heads and a good shave without razor burn but i do agree with having trouble shaving under the nose properly.

Last time i bought replacement heads for it one of them must of been manufactured wrong as it gave a terrible shave and i ended up throwing it away and using another head which was fine.

other than that i think they are decent enough razors.

I was wondering. Why can no company design a blade which last forever? Apart from the commercial implications that would have for the companies. I guess I just answered my own question.
#23
only a personal recommendation but I would steer clear of this razor. bought one from morrisons approx 3 months ago when they were cheap there. Worst shave I have had in a long time. Mach 3 or fusion loads better, but as I say, thats my own opinion
#24
Great razor if you don't mind a mangled, lacerated, sliced up face.
#25
Cut me up alot less then Fusion

( grr gotta post under a blackburn user ! xD)
#26
Really disappointed when I tried these, very poor shave and very difficult to do just under the nose.
Plus it was ncredibly dificult to get the little cover off the blade, blade kept coming off too.
#27
These razors are excellent, you just need to learn how to use them. In our Asda they're on 4 for £3 at the moment - absolute bargain.

Anybody that cuts their face using a safety razor is pathetic no matter the brand. I have the king of shaves sensitive azor and its great but any safety razor no matter the brand will not slice you up. Your pathetic.
#29
i got the ladies i think its the best shaver i have had hot from me i got 4 for 3 quid lol cheaper than buying the blades seperatly
#30
Look like a tongue scraper.... and shave about as well !!!!! Wouldnt give a quid for it :(

i have this razor and it is very good but this comment is correct in saying you cant get close into the nostril area have to use a bic to get the last few hairs

Because of physics. Shaving your beard causes tiny dents, nicks, marks and imperfections on the blade when the metal edge cuts through the hair. The same way that a machete is blunted by chopping many branches, but obviously on a smaller scale. I doubt very much that the Evil Shaving Cartel Moguls are witholding infinite-life laser-blade technology from us in order to maintain their stranglehold over the lucrative disposables market.

£1 in Asda Clapham Junction and 4 for 3. £3 for 4 blades and handles, bargain. #

I just bought a fusion on offer and I thought it was terrible - even when brand new it wouldn't give a proper clean shave. Maybe I have a faulty one?
#35
From the extremely varied responses, I think it's safe to come to the conclusion that everyone shaves differently. Some obviously shave incorrectly or their skin doesnt play nice with certain razors, and some have skin of a boar or are masters of the blade.

I bought 4 of them... Because I absolutely hate disposables, but I'm too cheap to work out £40-50 on an electric shaver. Been using an Xtreme 3 from Wilkinson Sword ( an ASDA substitute from when I tried to buy one of these online last month... no stock though ) and it was a fantastic shave but the blade has a rubbish life. I got about 2-3 good shaves (I'm a man that likes his stubble - I shave probably once a week... thankfully the hair grows quite slowly though), the next couple were so-so... then after that it felt like I was using a blunt steak knife!
