Great razor IMO and nice cheap blades.

Better than rip off Gillette costs.
#2
These are crap in my opinion
#3
bought these, good razor, good design
#4
It's Azor, not Azur. :)
#5
Trick to using these is to press as hard as you can onto your face they then work very well but it does seem strange at first !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also they wont shave the bit just under your nose design fault but hey good price

H+R

Got one last night

Hot - Bought some yesterday.

I don't see the reason why anyone would buy one of these they are obvioulsy flawed, I don't fancy having to press hard on my face with a razor blade! Nor do I then want to use another razor to finish off shaving under my nose, total waste of time and money imo, probably why they are so cheap.
#10
Nice. These make Gillete razors seem like sandpaper against your skin. If used with decent prep and their shaving foam/gel... you cant feel a thing. Granted they dont get as close as Gillete, but that doesn't bother me. Miles cheaper too.

From my extensive experience of trying a plethora of different shavers, all of the above it utter nonsense.. No need to press hard unless your trying to shave off a full beard?!? :? And it works just fine under the nose too, no need for the gimicky nonsense from Gillete's 'precision' blade on the back.

Lol, I thought that was just me with the nose thing! - I have one of the gillette blades still with the blade on the back - which obviously lasts ages on those tiny bits.

I find this better than the mach3 or fusion, and it's a lot cheaper.

It was probably the hassle of this problem that led to Hitler growing his style of mustache

Looks silly, offends millions, but hey, it's simple

rubbish product
#16
I've got a better deal - grow a ZZ top beard
#17
I got one of these for free when they were first launched as part of a promotion. Took me a while to get used to it, but then was happy enough and continued to use it for months in place of my Mach 3.

Then one day I had to borrow my brother's Mach 3 as I'd forgotten to pack mine, and I couldn't believe how much better they are and how instantly noticible it was. I binned my Azor and went back to the Mach 3. Yes, the blades cost a little more but I'd never go back to the Azor again after realising how much better the Mach 3 is.

Having said that, each to their own and if you do like the Azor then this is a great deal!

Am I the only one that uses cheap disposable bic's?

ASDA Smartprice 10 twin blade disposable razors, 25p for 10, thats 2.5p per razor.

Not going to shave through 7 days worth of growth, but if you keep it short, worth a try lol.

If your "extensive experience" has led you to this conclusion, then I conclude you've only tried 1. This one.

This is by far the worst razor I've ever bought. Back when the last deal was on in Sainsbury's, I rushed out and purchased the razor + 4 blades for around £2. There's still 3 fresh blades left, and the one that got used is near enough in mint condition. The reason? It does not work.

You DO have to push quite hard, due to the rubberised connector from the blade head to the handle, and it's no use for those "hard to reach areas" such as under your nose.

Whilst you may mock Gillette's precision blade, no one can really say they don't provide a good shave. I hate Gillette with a passion, purely because of their pricing (which parts blame with many of the supermarkets too), but I can't deny it's one of the closest shaves you'll get - bar using a cutthroat (which I also own).

Obviously, someone doesn't know what they're talking about, hasn't used this item, or works for the company.

Until they get it right, I'll be warning others that this product by and large, is defective. The only use I could possibly see this razor doing any good is if it was used for other regions aside from the face :whistling:

It's a poorly designed product but it does have its uses.

It does actually shave, but you have to lay the blades quite flat with the surface adjacent to your skin. In reality this is not great for all areas of the face as it is quite difficult to achieve using the correct technique.

I do use it to shave my head however and surprisingly it actually works far better in this regard.

So all in all a poor razor with a distinct reason for why it is going at this price. But if it works for you then great.

Used morrisons value ones before just the worst feeling ever, kind of how it must feel to use a sander on your face

Back in the old days, single blade razors didn't have any trouble getting the bit under your nose. The problem is with these modern razors that have upto 5 blades. They are really not needed. When is it going to stop? Are we going to see 10 blades in a few years time?

And then there's the silly cost. Here's a quote from wiki:- "The blades used by Mach3 only cost a few cents to produce, but can sell for over $2 each. This shows that profit margins on Gillette razor blades are typically over 4500%"
#26
Started using these a few weeks ago - didn't like at first but now got used to them - I have to "bend" my nose a bit to do the bit underneath. Order of magnitude better than Mach 3 - cuts closer, no cuts.

The Asda offer is cheaper if you buy the 4 for £3

Tried out this razor hoping to find a cheaper alternative to mach. Aside from feeling really plasticky, it's like dragging a shoe across your face. Have thrown out and gone back to Mach. Shame.
#29
I tried these and although they shave well you can't get the blade into the hard to reach places like around your nose. Average.

Good for ladies legs though.

Yeah, awful. Gave mine away before wearing out one blade, back to Mach3. The nose thing was sooooo annoying.
#31
The sensitive version is the worst, with the extra width at the top, it leaves even more unshaved

Sensor Excel or Mach 3 much better if you need to use cartridge razors, I use an old fashioned DE razor

The Azor gives the closest smoothest shave you can get... if you use it poperly and especially if you use the Azor gel. It seems to me that those who use it correctly (suggest you read the enclosed instruction leaflet if you're one of those slagging it off) experience the best shave of their lives! However, the Azor is a radical change to normal razors because you hold it completely differently and the shaving technique has to be learned. I've used the Azor for about a year and will never go back to a conventional razor.
The 4 for £3 is a great offer (75p per blade) but if you're unsure why not give it a try for £1? Remember, the Azor came top in a Which? comparison. HOT!!

This just screams "I work for the company".

Have you tried the gel? No doubt you've only tried part of the system! I have nothing to do with KOS... I just know from experience that Azor is the best shaving system out there. Oh! And you're not a rep for Gillette I don't suppose?
