Dont know why people are voting this cold, the movie may be pants, but £2.99 for a dvd delivered to your door has always got to be a good price.
#2
Why is this being voted cold??? Please tell!
2 disc box, good movie and good price.
Heat added.

This film should be voted cold. The definitive edition (4 disks) with the proper film is only £3.99 here

http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/3297648/Kingdom-Of-Heaven-The-Definitive-Edition/Product.html

and you'd be mad not to pay £1 for the film as it should be and not this butchered version.

Orlando Bloom still has the emotional range of a park bench.

This is the cheapest price for this version, so therefore it shouldn't be cold.
not everyone wants a few extra features for a 30% higher price, me included

It's not just extra features tho. The definitive edition is a Director's Cut of the film and is hugely better than the theatrical release. In fact, most people say that the DC of the film is up there with Scott's other works such as Gladiator.

No way should people buy this version over the Definitive Edition.

meh, i prefer the cheapest price personally :)

But it's almost a differnet film. The DC is longer by over 40 minutes. It like buying a Cheeseburger when you could've got a Big Mac for a bit more. It's cheaper but it's not the same. :-)

I wish I'd waited to see the Definitive version at £3.99 - I wasted £5 on the theatrical release a couple of years back

I thought the movie was very good, but the directors cut is better. But lets face it for £2.99 its cheaper to own it than rent it. Great price for the average viewer, although the connoisseurs may be prepared to pay the extra.
not the hottest deal i've ever seen but certainly worth a little heat(added) I bought this twice, £5.00 for the all singing all dancing steel book, more for the original.

Although this is probably a lost cause, this film doesn't work. The plot is truncated and it is terribly paced.

If you're buying this film just so you can say you've seen it or have one more DVD on the shelf to impress people, it's a decent price.

If you want a film that actually works i.e. tells a story in a cogent fashion, then go for the £.3.99....it was at this point I realised I was trying to help someone who clearly didn't deserve it, spend an extra £1 on a film...sigh.

Can I add to the 'please don't buy this, buy the 4-disc version'. This cut of the film is awful and makes very little sense. The full version is still a slightly flawed film, but beautifully shot and well worth £3.99.

don't worry, i do actually appreciate your opinion. im just suggesting that, what most people can do (me included) is buy this dirt cheap priced DVD and watch it, and if they want more then they could just sell it and buy the better and more expensive version
