Brilliant price for these 2. Bought them for the same price in my local Tesco about a year ago. Aha Shake Outbreak is the best album they've produced imo & is worth the cost of this deal alone.

Great price if you don't mind waiting, still going to arrive in ample time to be part of an xmas stocking pressy :santa:

Youth and Young Manhood is such an amazing album. How the mighty have fallen.

Great album. I love that sound and in some ways, it's a shame that their sound is very different now. I saw them supporting The Strokes at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles in 2003. No-one batted an eye-lid then but they were awesome!

Great albums. The mighty have not fallen. They have evolved. I think 'Because of the TImes' is their best work. Ok 'Only by the night' is a more commercial direction but just because all the chavs decide to jump on the 'Sex is on Fire' band wagon it does not make them a bad band. I assure you the general populace are fickle and KOL will be forgotten by the next album but I'll still love them.

I've been listening to these two albums for the last few months, and I'm listening to them now---- they are absolute class. Nice and relaxing, but some good rhythms to get you quietly bobbing along. :)

trying to think of a more dull title than youth and young manhood for an album cant think of one

'2001' by Dr Dre?

The White/Black albums?

'Music' by Madonna?

In my opinion they have fallen. Their commercial direction has led to many forgettable songs, 'Sex on Fire' and 'Use Somebody' being examples. As they have aged they have gotten progressively less soulful. If you listen to 'Youth and Young Manhood', do me a favour and listen to the astonishing vocals and tell me they haven't got worse. They have lost any energy they once had.

Youth and Young Manhood = Amazing

Aha Shake Heartbreak = Good, solid album

Because of the Times = Boring. No other word other than mediocre comes to mind.

Only By the Night = The two opening tracks are very good, 'Closer' and 'Crawl', but still NOWHERE near the level of their first album. The rest of the album is dull, lifeless and worse than 'Because of the Times'.

From the black of the night to the red morning light. Dang de dang dang dang.

Bought the first album last year and loved it, tremendous fun and great energy. Real rock'n'roll.

Recieved an email from HMV today, unfortunately they cannot get hold of this product anymore as it is discontinued. That's a shame as I was looking forward to those albums too. Will let you know if I see them elsewhere for a good price. If anyone else spots a good price please let us know, thanks
