Toast & butter them

Thanks!!

Bought some for the first time in my life, grilled them, didnt toast them though. spread some margarine and ate it for the first time in my life. it was OK. just normal. How would jam, Peanut butter, honey OR Chocolate spread taste like?? anyone tried any?

Jam is nice, but the Warburtons ones are in a different league as far as crumpets are concerned :)

I went through a phase of golden syrup'ed crumpets while I was a boy, that's a good combo.

Also had one of the co-op ones with a fried egg on top last week, wouldn't recommend it :-(
