Buy a single, faster 16gig SDHC for £18. Miles more convenient (if your device supports SDHC), a lot faster and better value to boot.

I don't buy the "more things to lose if it breaks" because that's the same with all storage media. But you wouldn't say, "buy 10 100gb drives instead of a single 1tb drive" would you? Back things up as soon as you can.

I'd say there's less chance for losing a single card if its only possible locations are in your camera or in your PC or printer. Having loose SD cards flapping around could be a nightmare.
