I had one of the earlier versions ans it works brilliantly. Pretty quick bearing in mind its age - the G3 version will be quicker no doubt.

Is it true that if you gaffa tape two of these together they work in dual-channel mode?
#14
thankyou LD2DVD much appreciated
#15
would this be fast enough to put a film on it and then connect it to my blu-ray player?
#16
ok I've got one of these and it is painfully slow. It takes me 10-15 mins to transder a film onto this. I've also had other pen drives and i can compare them. However the quality of the product meaning the casing is very good and strong.
I use it in my sony TV to watch clips off it.

Going through at £3.99 plus Quidco, but can't get the code to work

Same when I just tried it via TopCashback. Looks like they have stopped the AMA5 voucher now.

Nice, just bought one. Dont forget you can get cashback from TopCashBack (4.04%) or Quidco (4%) = 15p off approx. Every little helps!

I've got the 8Gb G3. Reading is ~20MBPs. writing ~5MBPs, as I recall.

Had 4Gb G1 just gone kaput! Was gonna put my OS on it and reclaim my 8Gb. This might be the replacement I need.

Arrived today. In a proper package, not loose, so may use as a present (so I've not tried it out). Great for £3.79. Cheers!
