In my day we had to rely on a 1.44mb floppy disk and hope the next time you put it in a machine it didnt say this disk is not formatted, do you want to format now

High Density floppies? My god man, you don't know how spoilt you were! When I were a lad, we had standard 3.5" floppies holding a massive (To us) 720kb. And it held everything on it we could possibly want.

3.5"! You don't know you were born! We had to make do with the 5 1/4 ones that really were floppy - if you bent them then it was goodbye data...

Hehe, same here. I remember a lot of the disks getting corrupted too easily. Had to use WinZip self-extractor to split large files from school onto multiple disks.

Back in the old days of 2002 it was still floppy discs, unless you wanted to spend a fortune on a zipdisk.
