#4
Just had to order one. Thanks for the find.

Gets very good reviews on amazon.com (only one, positive, review on UK site). Great for my media player!
#6
Excellent value at this price. I have got a lower capacity Kingston Data Traveller 101 and it is really not very fast, but if you don't need extreme speed, at this price you can't go wrong. Heat added.

Review of the 16GB Data Traveller 160, which is the same inside, just slightly different cosmetically:

Remarkable price for a 16gb. 'Indefinite wait syndrome' suggests I should now wait for a 32gb at this price lol.

Please don't say things like that without either posting the code or some form of qualification.

these are very fast.. hottt

How did you make that out?

Manufacturers info http://www.kingston.com/ukroot/flash/dt101g2.asp Read and write speeds 10 Mbps and 5 Mbps respectively.

Typical 16Gb drive from 7Dayshop http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_6&products_id=106966 [granted not quite as cheap as this one, but £1 per Gb] Read and write speeds 20.5 Mbps and 8.5 Mbps.

I think these Kingston drives will be really slow with data transfer.....

Great price though, if you don't mind the pedestrian speeds.

If this is right the end of the video shows it can get at around 20Mbps read and 7.7Mpbs write http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlIiWYTIc4w

£13.50 good price imo hot!

Speed — data transfer rates of up to 10MB/sec. read and 5MB/sec. write

It's not very fast is it? only a little bit faster than the 16GB Verbatim deal?
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/verbatim-16gb-retractable-usb-flash/772516

was hoping to use this Kingston 16gb to plug into WDTV and maybe PS3 to watch 720p & 1080p media files, will this Kingston be fast enough? 10MB Read probably fast enough for playing, but 5MB Write probably take ages to transfer big HD files to the stick?

Scorcher! That'll do nicely.
It's not worth taking a risk with lesser branded devices - kingston beats all sandisk devices I've ever owned hands-down - (even if they are fugly!)
There are some great reviews out there for this little beauty.
