Please note that there are cheaper memory sticks out there, but you are paying a bit more for the speed.

This is the cheapest I have seen this and I apologise if it is already posted. I have this and it is excellent and feels very strong, but it is quite big. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a fast memory stick

For a stick of this nature with it's high transfer speeds is excellent but from me I can't really vote. My reason is simple, I mean it's a decent stick and all but for the same price you could get a 64GB USB3.

Heat for adding the speed to the listing, I think k it's worth doing nowadays!
#4
Not all USB drives are created equal, many are slower than USB 2.0. Heat for speed.

Brilliant USB drive. Bought one a few weeks ago from Amazon for a just over £19. Have some heat.

You're right, you can get much bigger sticks for the same price. But these sticks are unlikely to be as fast.

It'll ultimately come down to your priority; size, or speed?

I paid more for the Sandisk Extreme, which cost me £23.70 for a 32gb. I could've bought a 64gb for £17, but I wanted the 190MB/s write speed.

I'll be getting a 128gb stick at some point for larger backups, and for that one I'll be going for lower speeds so it'll be cheaper.

Voting hot for this stick because for what you're getting it's a good price.

Its a good stick but its ridiculously chunky. Don't expect to plug anything else in above or below it.

I'm not knocking the deal as it is a brilliant one and I may just vote hot. On a personal point of view, I could save some and go for a larger capacity. The verb 64gb USB3 stick I was looking at wrote at a stated 40MB/s so it wasn't that far off this one. AS long as it's not a 5MB/s write speed it won't bother me X)

good speed but bad form factor :/ hot anyway

I own this stick, paid about £35 for it a year or two ago, can't fault it except for the chunky size. Yes it's sturdy but then the little keychain loop on it is tiny. Heat anyway.

The USB 3.00 Grixx 128mb for £33.99 from 7dayshop reads at 214 MB /sec and writes at 99.8 MB / sec on my i7 desktop. The device is small and faster than my Sandisk Extreme USB 3.0 flash drive. I hope this helps

I have the 128gb version of this. Great, solid but as mentioned above quite chunky.
#14
That thing is huge

Whats so special about this USB stick?

You can get 32GB USB 3 for £8.77, £9 cheaper!

Grant you that is fast, but seems just tad expensive for a measly 128mb! Don't you think? You sure must be in a hurry if you need such speed that you can't wait more than a second to fill your drive! ;)

The Grixx write up says...
"Plug and play and rapid transfer speeds: write up to 70mb/s and read 89mb/s
Sleek design: aluminium housing with black cap to protect USB end. LED indication light
5 Year Limited Warranty"

yeah your right and I agree with you, you can get cheaper memory sticks.. But if you look at the beginning of my post I state that you can get cheaper memory sticks.. You simply pay more for the transfer speed, i.e quicker transfer of data/files! as some people like myself like to have the 'ferraris' of memory sticks :)

Mine arrived today, it certainly is a little larger than I expected.

Initial speed tests were disappointing as both read and write topped out at 40MB/s, however after reformatting the speeds are now higher that the quoted speeds.

Impressive, if a little bulky.
