Was looking for a 2GB DDR2 CL5 800MHz and came across this at CBC. Seems to be cheaper by a few quid compared to the likes of DABs etc. Not everybody's cup of tea but will do me nicely.

They also have the Kingston ValueRAM version for £29.20:

Neither seems particularly good value to me. I know prices have gone up a bit, but I got 4 GB for the same price last year. I would certainly shop around a bit.

Bought cheap memory for one of our servers a few years back. Big mistake.
The only place to get memory is Crucial. Quality products at competitive prices, with service that's second to none.

Well, that was last year......this looks like a good deal at today's prices to me, although I agree with the previous poster about using Crucial; alternatives would have to be a lot cheaper than Crucial before I'd change. Nearest equivalent part to this I can find on the Crucial web site is 32.89 GBP inc. P&P so pretty close.

Don't forget Crucial have 7% quidco, making it actually cheaper than this 'deal'

Cheap RAM is one of the biggest problems to overclockers and can cause bad system stability.

For £6 more you can have 2GB 800mhz crucial ballistix CL4 at ebuyer, overclocks like a bute' and the low latencies are really nice!

I would also avoid cheap RAM at all costs.

I always go for Kingston (my personal preference) or Crucial. It's worth spending the extra!

But, this is still a good deal I guess!
