When you consider QUIDCO 0.5% versus 7% with crucial, and the next day delivery I seem to get with crucial, plus their compatibility guarantee, I would stick with crucial.

Crucial ( seems to give me an auto 12% discount after I log-in, though quidco doesn't track, so it isn't both a discount and quidco.

Also I think Play ship from Jersey, so don't provide a UK VAT invoice, hence for VAT registered businesses, you have to compare the ex VAT price from Crucial.

In summary, I always use crucial.
This is a 16 chip (8 each side) memory; fitted this into the Lenovo B560 and running dual channel too. And it is £1 cheaper than that 2 weeks' ago from Play. Hot.
now £12.49
hmm not sure what my laptop is using or if there are any free slot. I voted hot tho!
anyone know if this will work for an ugrade for my samsung N140?
Samsung N140 uses DDR2 RAM not DDR3. All the deals seem to be on DDR3 at the moment.
Wonder if it'll fit in my MSI Wind U135.
Would this work on an acer revo 3700?
How do you find if it would work on a dot/se I would really apprichaite advise
HOT :)
Hey, would this fit in my SONY VPC-W12S1E? thanks for any info ;)
Almost seems pointless, considering that any decent DDR3 laptop will have come with 2x2GB modules anyway, and a single 4GB module costs only a tenner or so more. 8GB RAM? That's an upgrade more worthy of your moneys, I'd say.

I've a Samsung R530 with DDR3, is there different pin settings or is DDR3 all the same?

Does fitting this memory into your newly bought laptop invalidate the warranty?

Order from Crucial for a pound extra and get it tomorrow, or order from Play to save a pound, then get it in about a weeks time!

I doubt it, memory is designed to be upgraded/ replaced on laptops. It might even tell you how to do it in the user manual. There should be a panel that comes off on the base
