USB drives this small are handy for keeping in your wallet.

These only last a matter of weeks :(

Looks like you've trodden on it, sat on it or something.

No flash drive will survive that.

The speed is ridiculously slow. 2 Mb/s write, 10 Mb/s read.

A word of warning: with the super slim design it is possible (if you are a bit daft, like me) to insert these upside down.

At which point, they melt & catch fire.

im here to testify its sunday morning and im happy!!!!!!!!!

I bought 2 of these and they are crap. They break really easy and as pointed out are easily inserted the wrong way. Stay well clear.

Bought one for less at mymemory a couple of weeks ago - the colour is an issue as they are coloured on one side only and the other is a grey that disappears everywhere you put it down. Also I think the contacts are too recessed to be read in all slots. Its OK speed wise but I probably wouldn't buy another.

Got one of these last year and its proved to be the most reliable (and smallest) usb stick Ive ever used.
Good speeds, light as a feather (literally) and even has an led indicator behind the keyring hole.
Very much recommended.

No. They just fall apart. They are not the best quality. The plastic is really flimsy around the contacts. Be warned!

How on earth do they melt and catch fire when, if inserted upside down, the contacts arent even touching?

I also had one of these and kept it in a usb slot, no danger of it breaking there .... until one day I pulled it out and inserted it in another usb slot and the crap plastic on the back of the 4 usb contacts broke off. There was no mistreatment, I was looking at the usb slot when I inserted this crap usb stick.
There were a few chips visible so I got on to Kingston, got my RMA number and sent it to them. They sent it back still broken and basically told me to get knotted.

So now I dont buy Kingston any more, the product quality was crap and the service was crap.

I got the 4gb Mini Slim last time it was posted on here, the connection bit has snapped off - still works but shouldn't be doing that after a couple of months use
