Bad drive, this deal is going to get a tad chilly I think... :)

Good to see prices plummeting though.

Bait 'n' Switch with NAND... So ABSOLUTE ZERO from me.

Any good alternatives in 256/240GB which are providing compatibility to SATA rev.2?I need to change my work Laptop Tecra M11-11L 7200RPM HDD to SSD.

As I was quickly made aware of the downsides to this Kingston model I cancelled my order previously for this and went for a barely more expensive Sandisk model that gives an extra 8gb of capacity. Considering all the original reviews make this one out to be fantastic the customer feedback of the 'update' (it's certainly a downgrade) is not so flattering.

SATA 3 is backwards compatible with SATA 2. I can confirm this because I use the aforementioned SATA 3 drive in my own SATA 2 laptop. To find the best current deal just search for "SSD" in the search bar.
