Having just spent £14.99 at amazon.co.uk, I was trying to find something cheap to take my order past the £15 for free delivery. I stumbled upon this which, I'm sure you'll agree, is a hot deal in itself.

You can get a Kingston Technology 1GB Secure Digital Card with adapter for only 44p.

Product Features

* Kingston
* 1GBSD

* Massive storage capacity
* Blazing data transfer rates
* Excellent price-to-performance value
* An ideal expansion option for devices including MP3 players, digital cameras, PDAs, smartphones and more
* Built-in write-protect switch prevents accidental data loss

As already mentioned, this is a great deal - especially with all the digital photo frames that are expected to be sold this Christmas, but it is also a useful basket addition to increase orders past the free delivery checkpoint of £15.

** Whilst posting, price dropped a further penny to just 43p now !! **

Not from Amazon, so it will carry a p&p charge and certainly won't count towards the £15 free delivery.

3rd party seller so additional postage of £4.50

Price dropped to 43p as these sellers probably have something in place to drop the price so they are always the lowest. They make their money from the p&p. I don't think marketplace is allowed on here anyway?

Ah, you're right - I've just checked my basket, and realised that I was charged P&P on both the original order AND the SD card. Better cancel that card quickly !!

If you buy the same item directly from Amazon it costs £4.48, with free delivery if the total order is over £15.

Just as a note to the OP... I think you will find that Amazon will still give you free delivery on a £14.99 order... so no need to look for a one penny item! :thumbsup:

I agree i've been stung in the past with these people! :x

They don't even combine postage: If you buy 10 cards, you have to pay 10 x 4.5 = 45!!! What a price!!

Agree. It's bringing down their own reputation. Wish they would include an 'Amazon Only' filter on search results.

Takes 10 times longer to find anything, so whereas Amazon used to be my first port of call, it's now way down the list.

See how this thread develops, then point them here.
