As my wife has hinted that that she would like this product for her birthday I did a little research and found this, Kitchen aid products are never usually discounted, not only is this in the sale reduced to £349.00, if you register online with Harrods they take off an additional 10% which brings the price down to £320.05 delivered, all in I am pretty pleased this may help someone who has always wanted one these bombproof mixers, but could not stretch to the £429.00 standard price.

Personally i would get a Kenwood Kmix as they're just as good and cheaper but this is a great price for a kitchenaid artisan so HOT.

Excellent price, brilliant machine. HOT

I have a kmix, it's great but would have had this if it had been this price at the time.

The first and last time a Harrods deal will be hot? I think so!

very nice wish i has the cash to buy one :-(

The food will taste better in this than a cheaper mixer. You'd be mad to consider paying less.

I was going to get one of these but after a but of research figured the Kenwood kMix a much better buy, it has much bigger motor and reliability.

I can bet you don't know anyone remotely, who had even tried divorce :)

Damn you must be lazy if you're willing to pay £320 for something to mix your food lol

You need one of these if you use a mixer a LOT - and I mean a LOT - like at least a few times a week (think 'Bakery'). The thing about these is they last forever - so you get your money's worth eventually but if you don't use it to that level, you're just wasting cash.

If you use a mixer once-in-a-while and/or you also want things like a meat grinder etc. - better off getting a good quality Kenwood Chef (you're looking at over £100 but that's a fraction of the cost of this).

Unless, of course, you're only interested in the label - in which case it will match your Duallit Toaster and other stuff you paid far-too-much money for just to make your kitchen look like Nigella's... :)

I read this comment daily, the richest people I know are tight.. Just cos you got money doesn't.t mean you have to pay over the odds for something.. People assume the rich are stupid. Self made millionaires are generally wheeler dealer types

If you were buying this for mixing dough i would consider getting urself a cheapo bread maker as they have a strong dough mixing attachment. Dnt have to use the breadmaker to bake it. just use the kneading function then do what you please with it.

That shoudn't have sounded dirty but it did :3

I bought a Kenwood KMC560 from Costco for £279 yesterday. It does more than just mixing and is cheaper.
#34
Great Price, got one for my wife's 30th at full price.... couldnt believe the cost of them but its made a few nice cakes so there is some payback. It does look nice too, its the sort of thing you can leave out in the kitchen and it adds to the kitchen. the kenwood one needs to go back in the cupboard once you've finished with it.

Really wishing I had the money to buy this aswel.
I'd love to buy this for my OH as he has been after one of these for a while.

Ridiculous price for a food mixer unless you use it every single day. Yes, they are bomb proof, but who needs to mix ingredients in a war zone? Nobody even knew what these were until they saw them on that Great British Bake Off program. Simply another fashion item to show off how you much cash can blow on something you rarely use. This'll take pride of place in a kitchen next to the stack of M&S ready meals in the Smeg fridge.
