Not sure why you'd spend this much. This model has been recommended by Delia for years and still wayyyy cheaper.

Personally I wouldn't spend so much and I have the Kenwood one you've put the link to which does exactly what I need it to BUT some people like the kitchenaid brand and this is the cheapest price around for it...hence the reason I posted it.

At the end of the day I suppose it is no different to any other premuim brand price vs cheaper brand price for any kind of product and each to their own ;)

Fair enough. My GF got the Lakeland one for Xmas and it has a couple of good features but suffers from design faults that the kenwood does not.

I used to think like this. But just like James Martin, Delia is a sell out.
The kenwood is ok for occasional relative light use. But if want something heavy duty that won't burn out when you over fill, chop something like onions or cashunuts then kitchen aid is much better.
Put it simply if you just wanna occasional chopper to cook for 2 then kenwood is fine. Anything else kitchen aid.
I wouldn't pay £69. But I just brought this at £34.50 :)
