iVoice?

voice control?

I bought this in January and can recommend it, it isn't quite as good as the Bose (as I compared it to my Brother -I-L's system) but performs a lot better than many of the budget docks out there as it has a decent bass output. I paid £44.99 back then, for the money its excellent value.

Klipsch Athena £39.99 v Cheapest Bose per Amazon £249.99?

Hardly a fair fight! Bought the Athena when it was posted a couple of weeks ago. It's a great piece of kit and you'll get nothing anywhere near as good at this price.

Cheers

Has someone lost the plot, just bought the bose dock for £150 from John Lewis with 2 years guarentee, admit its not the portable one, but well in size its the same and so only need a power supply wherever you take it and I have an inverter in the car so if out for a picnic no problem!!

Sounds great have to add (the bose one)

Klipsch are a high quality audio company. They make good kit.

Bose ........... well, just go ask about them in any audio forum. Make sure you wear a flameproof suit though.

Are these better than the Logitech MM50 speakers, which seem to get high praise for a low price ?

Just a quick note for iPhone users - this unit is not entirely compatible - I got one a couple of weeks back - it plays and charges ok but the volume control makes thingsgo a bit weird on the phone itself - It seems the phone and the dock are trying to cancel each other out when u try to make a change so it is tricky to change the volume (if that makes sense ;)) - So not a bad price but mine went back

So you paid £60 more than the Igroove to get a similar product, well done! Make sure you polish the Bose sign as you've paid good money for that!

For £40 this is a good deal. It'll knock the socks off most other things at the same price and you could expect to pay double to find anything that sounds much better.

Does anyone know if the remote on this can control the menus of the iPod, or does it just provide play, pause, stop, back and forward?
#14
I use it with a 2nd gen nano, doesn't control the menus, just play, pause adn track skipping ffw/rew (which for the price is no problem).

very pleased with it.
#15
remote just controls play/pause forwards/backwards and vol up/down

Great piece of kit for the money sounds awesome for under £40!
