Free delivery too so a good deal for Christmas (depending on how many they have!)

fantastic piece of kit which were 199 when they first appeared.

Great price for this.
If you want it to charge the new Touch and Iphone, there's a new version on Amazon, albeit at £99.
Just out of interest, it says in the product description that you can charge the latest Ipods using a 'charging adaptor'. Anyone know anything about this?
#8
Bought one when on offer from Amazon - use it with a Samsung NC10 playing spotify

the klipsch is brilliant for the money and its the perfect tool to get the most from spotify.

I have one of these and my iPhone 3G charges, but the remote doesn't work properly other than play and pause.

Sounds awesome though.

Dam i wish this had a alarm clock on it
#11
awesome price would have preferred the black but a cracking deal for a cracking bit of kit.

Did you look on the Philips website?

No never thought of that ! I did google it but haven't found anything I'll go look now, thanks

Great bit of kit, but has been around the £50 price on amazon a good few times in the past. Think i paid £55 for it back around May time.

I've been looking at these for a while and it was the iGroove SXT which was at the £55 mark. This iGroove has been around the £90 - £100 at their cheapest!

If you really want to charge the Ipod whilst its playing, then yes you need one of these, although at around £18 delivered I question wether it's worth it.
You could always go for the newer model http://www.amazon.co.uk/Klipsch-iGroove-Speaker-System-compatible/dp/B000I1HUGS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1256553888&sr=8-1 which will charge the new gen Ipod, but it's £99 (although they occasionally reduce them)

The iGroove HG in black is the model i think. It's on the same site for £95 in delivery!

Spoke to car audio today and will be getting my order tomorrow so will let you know how it is... fingers x

Thanks for the advice like i said I don't know much about them and not too sure whether having it charge is worth it or not I just thought it would be better for my daughter :)

It's not that big a deal for me - I plan to only play a few tracks at a time anyway!
#25
Good one!
Ordered, thanks :)

Accoading to reviews on amazon it can go up in smoke , not willing to risk my ipod
suspended#27
Yeah - Saw that... there are 50 odd reviews which are averaging 4 out of 5 so taking the risk...

I'll be getting it tomorrow so will keep away from anything flamable :-D

Just looked at my historic purchases on Amazon and I defo got this exact model for £54.99 and I'm sure it was slightly cheaper at one point.

Got it today - hooked up fine (no fires!) - looks good and sounds even better. The whole house rocks and the quality is awesome too! Only problem is she keeps telling me to turn it down :(

ordered, h&r added...thanks

Not sure if anyone will reply but...My niece has a 1stG Ipod Touch and I'm wondering which sounds better, this model or the iGroove SXT MFI (the newest one)? Not even sure if the SXT will work with the 1stG. Thanks :-D http://www.amazon.co.uk/Klipsch-iGroove-iPod-Speaker-System/dp/B002RDDCA8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1260230706&sr=8-2-catcorr

Edit: This is as much info as I could find about the two. I also included details about the newer igroove SXT WII which is out here in a few days (compatible with iphone and newer ipods, but apparently still the same speakers, etc, just updated firmware). http://www.avforums.com/forums/11016739-post2.html
