I have the previous model to this which was listed on here and I got for £50 from Amazon also. That one that does not charge the Touch but if my one is anything to go by then the sound quality is amazing! I would not hesitate to buy this one even for the price difference if I had not already bought the previous model.

If you're looking to buy one of these then I would definitely consider this before you do,
http://www.amazon.co.uk/LOGIC3-MIP100K-Jivebox-Speaker-Dock/dp/B000XQ4FLQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1252374142&sr=8-1

A tenner more for double the power output and the sound quality is amazing. Had mine for a year and its a fantastic piece of kit.

£89 is a fair price for this amazing piece of kit. I have one in the kitchen and everyone coments on how good it sounds. I got mine for £65 at a local currys sale but maybe its the older model. If it broke I would not hesitate spending £89 on another one so voted hot :)

The difference being that the thing you have posted is the ugliest thing ive ever seen. yes it does sound good but its horrible.

1)Gayvar, its a hot deal as its reduced from £150 to £89. As far as I am aware this is the first time this model has been listed on here at this price. Your thinking about the previous model.

2) This model charges the iPod Phone and Touch. The previous Model, which I'm guessing you have f10yd (and me also) will play the them but not charge them. I got mine for £50 reduced from £150 when this current model came out.

3) J-Bo, I would not even consider buying that brick of a thing you sujest. It looks awfull, where would you put it? People always comment on the Klipsch I have and two mates have gone out and bought one too. Mainly because of the sound quality, but also be cause of the looks. You really dont need the extra power output the Logitech has. The Klipsch is so well built you really dont need any more power. Even during parties its more than loud enough and its never at full volume.

Does it go to 11?

I've had the first version for over a year now and paid around £110 for it.

It is quite simply an amazing piece of kit for the price. The sound quality is equal to that of far more expensive (and basically over-hyped) speakers. I thoroughly recommend Klipsch.

Currently £110 on e-buyer.

Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where? :-D

Will this charge an 80GB classic purchased in Dec-08?

Yes, it will charge all iPods. Not sure about the iPhone 3G though?

Thanks Andy I nearly bought a klipsch the back end of last year but it didn't charge my ipod model so have been waiting for the new model to be released which I think is now beind sold in Argos. Is the one in Argos the same as in this deal?

Hey,
as far as I can see the Argos link is the same as the Klipsch website one.

From the Amazon link;
Plays and charges all 30 pin docking iPods including 120 Gigabyte Classic, 4th Gen Nano, 2nd Gen iPod Touch and will play and Charge iPhone 3g(for uninterrupted play on Iphone please select aviation mode)

So it looks like it will also charge the iPhone 3G too.

Yes I believe they are too. I was just waiting to see if Argos do any more special £10 vouchers for spending over £100 deals.

What's the difference with the Amazon model?

Nothing, its the same model. Thats why its a Hot Deal!

When I bought the previous model for £50 from Amazon it was still retailing for £150 on teh Klipsch website.
