veeeeeeeeeery tempted.

Same here. Bit concerned about the build quailty however Amazon has great customer service,so if they fail a replacement or refund will not be a prob.
#5
same on Play with a smidge of cashback on top. wish they were that tidy bit cheaper to justify replacing my CX300's. Just doesn't seem worth it as they are still fine!

I took exactly the same attitude until a friend insisted I try his new klipsch's on a recent flight. I couldn't believe the improvement in quality, noice pollution reduction and comfort.

Its fair to say the last LMAO was on me for putting up with cheapo earbuds for so long.

you'd rather have these from amazon, i bought some sennheiser cx550s about 8 months ago and they messed up so i mailed amazon and the next day they refunded me and asked if i could send them back!

they would have sent out a replacement before me sending them back but didnt have any stock

great service

Very hot, I moved up from cx300s to these and the difference is quality is incredible!

nice price. not much difference with the s4i's?
#12
I just ordered the Image S3 for £17.99 are these much better?
#13
I have a pair of these, brilliant earphones that are comparable with some that are way more expensive. If you're very interested in music and have some sub £10 junk, or even worse, standard iBuds... get these.
#14
Are the Comply T-100's the only replacement tips available? I have these and although they sound great when fully inserted, I can't get a good seal for when I'm walking, they always seem to break the seal. I don't really wanna have to pay £20 to get a bunch of new tips when these buds only cost me £40 in the first place...
#15
i have these. top notch headphones when i got them 2 years ago. good if u want a pair of decent buds, paid 80 back then and was pleased with them
#16
The point is though i will lose them or stand on them and boom £40 down the coffers

Looks like just the iphone controls
#18
The white/chrome ones are £43.50 on Amazon, or £40 on Pixmania, for those of you who prefer white 'phones.
#19
I have a pair of the S4i's and they are excellent highly recommended at this price if you don't want the inline mic, volume control or play/pause buttons. Noticed these came with a tin where as the i's come with a sprung closing pouch.

Thx

You stick to your £2 earphones matey... I'm sure they're more than adequate enough for you.
#21
Just got the Sony iPhone ones a fortnight back. Shame. Although they are excellent anyway.
#22
would i be able to tell the difference between these and say the klipsch Image S3's or X1's ??

Horses for courses.... if you're happy enough to listen to tinny music on awful quality earphones with no bass, but happy in the knowledge that if you "stand on" your buds it won't matter....then fine...
however, a lot of us prefer listening to music on quality earphones that sound amazing rather than crud - and we're careful enough not to break them. I've been using earphones for over 20 years and I've never broken (or stood on!) any.

Just dismissing the deal by saying "lmao wft", etc... because you personally can't look after a decent pair or earphones is pretty stupid imho. Most of us can take care of stuff

Nice find, Might relpace my waring out Shure SE110's

It's true that Comply earbuds are a rip-off (however they do provide the best seal for me). FYI, here's a good alternative but a bit fiddly:

http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/383917/how-to-best-custom-tips-for-iems-ever-imho-with-pics

(I've tried it, and it doesn't work for me on my Phonak 122's)

I owned a pair of Shure SE210's (broken) and now own Phonak 122's. Luckily the previous Shure Comply's squeeze on the Phonaks, saving me a lot of money (have 3 sets from warranty returns)

I've read a lot of threads of late regarding headphones. I'm no audiophile by any means and couldn't educate an amoeba with regards the subject but one thing to note with regards quality and brand.
Whilst having the "right" headphones count, very little regard is mentioned or commented on with regards source. If your music is poor quality, low bit rate, ripped badly or even if you have the purest of sources it's going to make a huge difference and really should be considered much more than does appear to be

i got a pair of shure se 530s a couple of weeks ago, their rrp is £430!!(i paid nowhere near that) they're amazing!!i've become obsessed with buying/testing earphones! i'm tempted by these!but i need to resist!awesome price!
#28
Hot! If my CX-300s weren't still in perfect condition, at this price I'd seriously consider trying these.
#29
These headphones are worth every penny- despite their small size they produce decent amounts of low bass. They made such an improvement over the included iPod headphones and they are well built. I've had mine for over a year and they look almost like new despite being used daily. No signs of them falling apart.

idiots fill this world...once was a time where everyone could have an opinion oO
#31
There's always one person that doesn't understand or look after a quality product. I have a set of S3s and they isolate brilliantly so I don't have to kill my ears with tinny high volume crap out of the Apple earbuds, it also means the person next to me on the train doesn't have to endure what I'm listening to. I look after my stuff and I'm not stupid so £40 on a quality set of buds is money well spent.

There's a fine difference between having an opinion and being ignorant.
#33
Saying that you wouldn't pay £40 for headphones is absolutely no use to anyone you parsimonious ****. Some £300 headphones are worth it for goodness' sake; and considering these badboys are half price, it's a good mo-fo-in deal! Just IMO LOL

I'm in exactly the same boat
both my pairs of SE110's are wearing out at the point the wires go into the jack plug

Also i was just stating that i stand on stuff and have done with my headphones, i'm not some freak who must have his headphones safe in a lock and are my life (they are a pair of **** headphones :|) , i just stick it in my pocket and done, i have them gummy headphones worth it very cheap sound great now thats an idiotic opinion from me which I'm seeing here from others here not very nice is it. Now all I stated was a cheap pair will do me don't see the point of getting £40 plus headphones thats all (as for me they'd probably break) and was an OPINION no need for negative
and stupid sarcasm as I wasn't being offensive to anyone.

You are of course welcome to your opinion.
Unfortunately for you, opinions can be stupid.
#38
I keep mine in my pocket too, maybe if you bought quality ones you wouldn't need to keep replacing them? It's usually a case of buy cheap buy loads of times with headphones.
#39
How do these compare to the Brainwavz M2 IEM which are £34.99
#40
Whats the difference exactly just the noise it makes, unless it has a superpower and that "quality" means that it never breaks.....now thats just stupid. Anyway its on HMV £4 cheaper for people who thought it would never be this cheap didn't take long did it (_;)
