This thing can run for 8 hours at max volume on some decent rechargables (8xD Cell)
The 11,000mah ones can power it for around 30 hours on high volume!!

I was shopping for a BT speaker recently and this thing came up. This is a very good price for it, but reviews of the sound quality are pretty middling (granted, that's at the original price) and the thing takes *8 D-cell batteries*, which would need to be charged externally. So if you want to relive the days of ghetto blasters, go right ahead, but at this price there are quite a few options out there if you shop around.

Granted 8 D size is a bit dated! But 8 x 10,000mah rechargable are only £40. And this doesnt limit power on batteries :D
Also these reviews sealed the deal for me!
