They're not listed on the website, just promotional gifts.

I assume that this is the blender:

That's right not listed on site, enter codes in checkout promotion box for them to be added to order.

Just found another option too of some garden solar lights, use code HAW-75101 if prefer instead:

I wonder how many people pick the promotional gifts over £10 off? Great deal, even cheaper than the one from John Lewis a few days ago.

You can have the £10 off and 1 free gift, just can't have more than 1 of the free gift items.

Anybody know much about the Kobo Vox? Wondering what the difference is between that and something like the original Galaxy Tab that I had? Thanks!

Got my Kobo Touch the other....it's a load of rubbish.

Slow as hell with anything more than a handful of books on it....absolutely awful. Maybe all eReaders are like this I dunno but this is downright junk.
#22
Lol robo989. I think you forgot to take your medication, son. The problem is with the eReader reader, not the eReader itself. :p

£10 off voucher doesn't seem to work any more, just says 'Error: This coupon has already been redeemed'

Was just about to order one for my dad :(

Maybe amusing if true, have you got one? If you have you will know I'm talking sense and there's no need for any medication...just yet at least :p

Check google for "kobo touch slow"...

You will see my point! They are a load of junk unless you plan on storing 20 books or less on there.

Try the same for Kindle Touch and this is one of the many results you will get
http://www.amazon.com/forum/kindle?_encoding=UTF8&cdForum=Fx1D7SY3BVSESG&cdThread=Tx1ERCX29AQG21Q

Eink screens aren't as responsive as tablet touch screens (they use different technology from tablets). If your books are poorly formatted they can sometimes give a slow response. Ereaders can be slow to load a book but once loaded page turns should be pretty fast (unless there are formatting problems with the book). Try downloading a free book or free sample from Kobo and using that.

If you are looking for an inexpensive case to go with the Kobo - check this deal out (only £3.30)
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/navitech-leather-case-for-kobo-touch-ereader-3-30-delivered-amazon-marketplace-fulfilled-1206991

Alternatively have a look on Ebay - the flip over cases are pretty good.

Thanks gari, I suspected what you say might be the case, having never used a Kindle I couldn't really compare and wasn't implying they would be any better. Just was severely dissapointed, you know, was kinda hoping for that "library in your pocket" feel...uhhh...however that feels :)

I had one book where page turns were taking 6 seconds but re-formatting the book cured it. Try having a play with a Kobo Touch in WH SMith (many have them demostration units you can play with) and see if thats any better......

Thanks - I think that's what I wanted to hear! Had a look through those and basically it looks like a pretty lame tablet which I really don't need. Have ordered the Touch from Very as I had a £20 discount code waiting to be used, so bagged it for £59 delivered.

Because it needs a discount code that's person-specific, and Littlewoods/Very codes are notoriously nasty if you use one that's not yours. That said, it's an excellent deal - use Collect+ delivered to store for free delivery. Also the option to pay in installments if that suits you better - I used a 12 month pay later deal (money better in my bank than theirs!), £20 off as I spent £100 on other stuff I was ordering anyway, free delivery, and a free Christy towel set from the Very Treats!

Gutted missed this again, could have done with a new hand blender as well ours is on the way out!

Very pleased with the kobo touch, got it in the John Lewis Deal.

For me it was better than the kindle as it means I can borrow library ebooks - you can't do this on the kindle. Seems this might be the case for most libraries.

The page turn isn't intantaneous but it's quicker than the speed I turned a book page when snuggled up in bed.

I prefer the free source Calibre book management system, it got me up and running really quickly and is very intuitive and has lots of features compared to the Kobo downloaded thing.

I think the demo models in WH smiths may be slow because of the amount of abuse they get!
